「The immediate neighborhood is pretty run down (as much of downtown Portland seems to be) and seedy looking but felt safe. It is about a one mile walk to downtown and very near bus and tram lines so transportation was convenient. There is nice courtyard to sit in and read or enjoy a snack of beverage of your own as there is no service. No coffee in room but available in the lobby across the street starting at 6:00 or downstairs (after 8:00). It is actually more like a motel with. exterior...

「We stayed in different rooms on April 29 and on May 1, 2026. The rooms seemed recently renovated. This is a no-frills accommodation: there are a little refrigerator and cups, but no coffee-maker. The concierge on each night was welcoming and competent. My only complaint is that on the second night, our supposedly non-smoking room smelled strongly of stale tobacco smoke.
