"Our stay was fine for the short time we were there as a place to lay our heads but for the price we paid I was a little disappointed. "Our room was lovely and a lot of care had been taken in its decoration. The bathroom was fully tiled with a Mediterranean feel. The hotel is very clean and the staff put in a lot of hard work to keep it so. We had a meal in the restaurant on our first night which was very nice and the bar was open to residents until 10.00 pm. Breakfast was excellent with a variety of choices, I recommend the full English. There is limited free parking on site. All the staff are wonderful and went out of their way to make our stay as enjoyable as possible."

"The buffet was extremely disappointing. Overcooked fish. No vegan alternative. Had to wait ages for someone to check each time which food was dairy free (for an allergy) as nothing had labels on it. The room was clean but the bathroom floor had permanent stains on it and the sink was also chipped or just very old. Didn't have time to use the pool but could smell it at the end of the hall near the pool. Pay for parking daily and you have to re-register your car each day! Reception area bar area and patio area were all very pleasant to sit in. Coffee making facilities in conference area was good, nice coffee."

"Really great room Lovely pool Breakfast good but would’ve liked a choice of eggs Now the negative why oh why do hotel guests have to pay for parking? It’s a big car park and isn’t near city centre or anywhere that would make lots of non residents want to park there. If you’re using the pool or leisure facilities then you’re able to park for free but hotel guests are charged £8 per night. I have researched lots of other Marriott hotels across the country and even some of the city centre ones offer free parking to their guests. I think it’s a very poor decision to charge your hotel guests to park. "

"Excellent stay and good options on Breakfast all be it not a full english but the Eggs Benedict was excellent & Service was very good. Very comfortable room, quiet where we were and free car park behind almost. Well equipped bathroom. Great choice of 'Extra' drinks you can pay for and cheaper that a Pub. Only minor comment would be that our shower wasn't very powerful."
