“It's a very good base for walking in the area, though the lake is not as pretty as Titisee up the road. Parking was easy, luckily, but they also give you a pass while you're there and you can take the train wherever you want. If you have a dog, the facilities are good and they were very kind. There's a nice park just up the hill, great for early morning or late night walkies. Very convenient to a grocery store, an atm, and right across the street from the tourist information center! The staff……

“A beautiful hotel with nice and clean room, Good food in restaurant, and I like the rum steak plus the vegetables roasted with cheese However this small town is very quite, I do not recommend to stay in the room that close to Road, because there are a traffic noise I should be back again”

“We hebben genoten in deze accomodatie, de tradidionele kamer en badkamer waren zeer schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien. Er was voldoende ruimte voor onze hond. Er is een restaurant aanwezig en hier kun je goed en lekker eten. Meerdere wandelmogelijkheden rondom het Hotel en je kunt alle kanten op met de auto. De eigenaars zijn erg vriendelijk en tonen interesse in je verblijf. Spreken ook Nederlands. Lekker en goed ontbeten iedere dag. We hebben ook heerlijk op baljon gezeten. Onze kinderen……

“Fantastisch! Super lieber Empfang. Sehr nettes Personal. Das möchte ich hier ganz besonders hervorheben, da leider immer mehr Hotels darauf verzichten. Ich habe mich sofort willkommen und wohlgefühlt. Der Wellnessbereich ist klein aber sehr schön mit einer tollen Aussicht ins Grüne. Hier kann man prima entspannen. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und nett eingerichtet. Das Frühstücksbuffet wurde liebevoll angerichtet und war lecker. Es gab frisch zubereitete Eierspeisen, frisch gebackene Plätzchen und……

“Sehr sauber und ordentliches Hotel,das Frühstück war gut und die Mitarbeiter sehr zuvorkommend.Einziges Manko ist die Lage da es ein bischen abgelegen ist.”

“Wunderbares Hotel zum Entspannen mitten im Schwarwald. Sehr ruhige Umgebung. Tolles ausgiebiges Frühstücksbuffet. Abendessen und ab 15 Uhr Kaffee und Kuchen auf Wunsch möglich. Küche sehr lecker. Kleines Schwimmbad und Sauna vorhanden, wie Parkplätze direkt vor dem Hotel ohne Extragebühren. Alles sehr sauber und das komplette Personal sehr nett und aufmerksam. Jederzeit gerne wieder.”

“My adult children and I had a magnificent four day stay here. Each room is unique, charming, and very comfortable and clean. The restaurant is impeccable and staff very friendly. There are some beautiful walking trails around the property and it is so quiet and peaceful. There is also a lovely gift shop filled with authentic and high quality items. The only thing we had issues with is the WiFi, which was very spotty in our room, but otherwise, we highly recommend it! Would definitely return.”
