"We had a great stay overall. The receptionist was very nice, friendly, and welcoming from the moment we arrived. There was ample parking, which made things easy. Our room was very spacious and extremely clean, and the bathroom was especially nice. The location was convenient, with several restaurants nearby for dinner. Breakfast in the morning was excellent—honestly the best we had in Iceland. There were plenty of options and everything was very fresh. The only downside was that access to the hot tub/spa required an additional fee, which was a bit disappointing. Other than that, it was a wonderful stay and we would definitely recommend it."

"We had the most wonderful stay at hotel Grimsborgir! The rooms were spotless and very roomy. The hot-tub was also a great addition and lovely to be able to use it in the evening after a busy day of exploring. The staff were extremely friendly and the food (both the included breakfast and paid dinner) was amazing with lots of options. The location was excellent in a nice quiet part of Selfoss. We were also lucky enough to see the northern lights from our room!!"

"Beautiful property, everything is new and modern. We enjoyed our stay here. Keep in mind, it is a hostel style property and was a little more noisy, even in our private room, as other guests were moving about the hallways and closing doors all night to use the bathroom and such. It was not bad at all, just something that should probably be expected at this type of property. With that being said, we would certainly stay here again."
