Western Mountain Townhouse is the perfect spot for your Acadia National Park getaway. Great for families or 2 couples traveling together. New and well appointed, this townhouse will provide a relaxing spot to enjoy your vacation. Three blocks from the town center. Multiple park access points are within 2 miles, Bar Harbor and the Park Loop Road are 20 minutes away. Need accommodations for multiple families - pair it with Flying Mountain Townhouse. Off season 2 night minimum. 3 night minimum stay May 21th to Oct 21th. This townhouse is an end unit. All townhouses had additional soundproofing added this winter.

Acadia Getaway

We enjoyed our stay at the townhouse. It was very new, clean, spacious. We never stayed in SW Harbor before and we loved it! Great hikes and restaurants and minimal crowds. We would stay again.

Great Place

The townhouse was very clean, very quiet, had everything we needed, and was close to downtown. Next time we plan a trip back to Acadia I will definitely book our stay here.

Great stay in Southwest Harbor

Just as we expected. Clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. The location was great for us as we prefer that side of the island and love southwest harbor. We would stay again!

Acadia 3 day trip

We had a great time at Acadia National Park. We mostly hiked the easy trails and one day used the Island Explorer to explore the area. Our stay at Western Mountain Townhouse was perfect! It had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable, it was very clean and the location was great. We would definitely stay there again.

Wonderful house and location for visiting Acadia National Park

The house has lots of space, plenty of parking, a great outdoor area complete with a grill, is centrally located for visiting many of the Acadia sites, has shopping and restaurants nearby, and has a great breakfast/coffee shop within walking distance. Echo Lake swim area is just up the road and many trailheads are nearby in either direction. Sand Beach, Cadillac Mountain, Dorr Mountain, and many other popular spots are a short drive away, and gas stations and groceries are both VERY convenient. It was the perfect choice for our visit to the area.

Close to Acadia National Park

The property was easy to find and close to Acadia National Park. It was the perfect location for all things Acadia and Bar Harbor. We enjoyed being able to cook in our townhouse. Also, the ability to do laundry was great, especially after getting stuck in a torrential downpour while out hiking. The property was well equipped for cooking with the basics provided. Ingrid was great to work with during our stay.

Western Mountain

The property was just what we needed. It was very clean and well appointed. About 20 minutes from Acadia and or Bar Harbor.If you cook, you’ll wanna bring your own knives. The twin beds were a bit soft.The queen bed upstairs was fabulous. Having laundry was very convenient and it worked like a charm They do not have cable so if you don’t have a streaming service, it’s pretty limited.There’s one TV downstairs. So the people in the downstairs bedroom always has to listen to the TV because there is not one upstairs.The location is fabulous and downtown Southwest harbor is very welcoming. Really nice coffee shop and restaurant.

Great Location on the Quite Side

Property was as listed; very clean and updated. Washer and Dryer were great given some of the rain we had. Beds all comfortable and plenty of fans to combat the usual heat during our stay. Location was right down the road from downtown and 15 minutes to Cadillac Mountain and 20 to Park Loop Road. Ingrid provided clear and quick communications and responses. While it didn't impact us, the walls are very thin as mentioned by some other renters. We could sometime hear the people next door but not an issue. However, if there was a family with young children that woke up early and were loud I could see this being an inconvenience.

Convenient

The property was just as listed. It was convenient to town and quiet at might. The walls are thin and we could hear our neighbors and fortunately every one was in bed early so it was quiet at night. The upstairs room was large and the bathroom was convenient. I am not sure why window was installed over the bed that looks down into the living room. If someone wants to sleep in in could be a problem since light from the downstairs floods the upstairs bedroom. I would suggest a blackout shade on that window. Everything else was fine.

We loved this townhouse! We are a family of 4 with 2 adult children. We did lots of hiking in Acadia and also swam at Ikes Point. The house was a fantastic base point! The kitchen was very clean and had everything we needed and having a washer/dryer was essential for our stay. We also liked that the house was set back from the road so we didn't hear the Main St. traffic. Ingrid's information about the house and the area was very detailed and helpful! Thank you!!!!

Perfect for our needs…a mother/daughters girls trip. Great to have 2 bathrooms. We really enjoyed being in Southwest Harbor rather than the crowdedness of Bar Harbor. We walked into Southwest Harbor town for dinner and ice cream. The rental was well equipped.The only negatives: icemaker didn’t work, and there is an odd large window between the downstairs area and the upstairs bedroom which let in so much light very early in the morning (4:45). It would be good to have blinds on it. This was our favorite rental in our week long trip.

Great Property

Maine Fall Colors

4 nights, 5 days exploring Acadia NP. Staying in SW Harbor was perfect for us as it was a little removed from the busy Bar Harbor area but close enough that we could easily get there & enjoy it for the amount of time we wanted. This was a very clean, nice place. Could hear people in unit next to us due to thin walls. That was the only concern we had. We tried to be quiet since we could hear them. We didn't want to disturb them.

Quiet area of the island. We enjoyed a lobster boat ride from the nearby marina. We also enjoyed the local ice cream shop. The drive to Bar Harbor and the main locations in Acadia National Park isn’t bad if you have a car. I would stay there again.

Acadia July 4

Place was comfortable and well located for an Acadia / Bar Harbor stay. Grocery store nearby and only 20 min from Bar Harbor and Acadia entrance. No A/C but evenings cooled down and many windows opened made sleeping comfortable.

Girl's Weekend

This was a great property for our weekend get together! We were a reasonable drive to anywhere in the Bar Harbor area. The condo was clean and well furnished. We had everything we needed for a fun and relaxing weekend.
