Really enjoyed our stayed, fantastically well stocked and comfortable! When there was an issue the owner responded inside of 10 minutes an it was fixed in a hour.

We were in town for a laid back bachelor party. Five of us stayed here very comfortably. This place has everything you need for a weekend stay and it was close enough to Bangor to come and go. I highly recommend this rental especially if you need 4-5 sleeping accommodations.

Everything we needed and more

We stayed 2 nights, during a week long road trip through NY, NH, ME, and MA. Having the space to spread out, after cramped hotel rooms elsewhere, and the ability to do laundry was great. Everything was clean, in working order, and provided for a pleasant stay.

Perfect for a quick overnighter

This was a great spot only 20 minutes form the Maine Savings Amphitheater, which is why we were in the area. Clean and comfortable.

Lisa’s house was perfect for our one night stopover in Hampden! She had many kitchen and bathroom toiletry amenities. We felt very comfortable in her flat.

Above the restaurant

This was a very clean space with lots of room to spread out. Lisa and Jeff were very easy to work with and gave us great recommendations of places to visit in the area. There was some street noise but it quieted down in the evening. I would come back again. Thank you for a lovely visit to northern Maine.

The process to check in was really smooth with detailed descriptions way in advance. It was spacious with lots of product for the bug-repellent. The night sky view - to die for! It was an hour away from the Acadia, but the drive was fun. - We really wished that there was a vacuum and a mop so that the floor could be cleaned, the toilet had running stain in the front, and there were other areas where cleaning could make the stay more pleasant.

A Weekend Stay

The pictures accurately represent the property. The only surprising aspect was the location. Situated on a somewhat active road, the property sits on an old gas station and above an unoccupied Chinese restaurant. Noise from passing traffic was an issue for our infants at times. Despite this, I would stay here again.

Interior apartment was very clean and spacious. Kitchen was a plus. The only bad review is the exterior. The garbage was overflowing in dumpster and the lawn needed trimming especially close to house

Hampden apartment

The inside of the apartment was clean and there were plenty of blankets and toiletries. The outside looks like it used to be a Chinese restaurant. Everything was adequate except for the water pressure in the shower. Pressure was very low.

Spacious apartment great for a group

The apartment, located over a closed store/restaurant, is very spacious and eight of us enjoyed a family weekend! The outside is deceiving and could use a facelift, however, the apartment itself was spacious and clean. Our host was very responsive to issues/questions. The bathroom was well equipped, but took some planning/organization to work for 8 people! The kitchen, for a cooking lover like myself could have a few more items, but we managed. We had a fun weekend!

Convenient location

Apartment was clean and all basics for our stay. It would have been nice to have air conditioning as it was during heat wave, but we made do with the fans in the bedrooms. The smoke detector battery needing replacing in the middle of the night in our room and the chirping of the detector woke us up. We swapped the battery from empty bedroom as we couldn't find any replacement batteries. The location was convenient for our travels and fine for an evening.

Cleanest place I’ve ever been too!

This was the second time we’ve stayed here and I think that tells it all. Honestly this place is spotless, I’m not sure who cleans but I want to take them home with me! Last time we stayed there wasn’t any sugar and I mentioned that, well they had sugar this time. 😊So I would definitely stay again and probably will as our grandson is a student at UMaine. I probably shouldn’t say that as it may be unavailable for me the next time the school has an event. Oh one last thing DO NOT BE PUT OFF BY THE OUTSIDE! It truly is a place we will stay again and again!
