Efterpi's Tower is located in the historic mountain village of Toriza, right outside the historic city of Sparta! Perched high up on the ridge of the mountain it commands a spectacular view of the entire Spartan plain. While the main road to the village and the Tower is paved, the Municipality of Sparta has designated many of the mountain lanes to remain unpaved to preserve the pristine natural environment.

You are 30 minutes from the sea town of Gytheio and the famous Dyros Caves. From the Tower you can also easily visit Mystras, Mani with its phenominal beaches, the town of Areopoli and Monemvasia.
