Highland Retreat

TALL PINES provided our family with a clean and comfortable place to stay while exploring the area. Windows and sky lights in every room opened to fantastic views of the beach and gorgeous greenery. Well appointed kitchen and updated bathrooms. Clean white linens were provided. We would definitely stay again.

What a fantastic stay, we loved Tall Pines Apartment. The location is beautiful and very quiet - just what we were looking for. The apartment was very clean, nicely furnished, and warm and comfortable. I had read one previous review saying that the shower wasn't very warm, but this wasn't the case for us. We didn't use the downstairs ensuite shower, but the upstairs shower in the main bathroom was definitely hot and powerful. The kitchen was well equipped and had almost everything you can think of. The two additions we would have found useful were a cheese grater and an oven glove, but we improvised just fine. However, there were cleaning products, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, tea/coffee, salt/pepper, cooking oil already there, and there was a pint of milk in the fridge for us which was a nice touch. The heating was on when we arrived, and the log burner (which we didn't use) was setup ready to go if we needed it. We would love to have stayed longer and would happily stay here again.

Tall pines

Wonderful location with amazing walks. The accommodation works well for the two families with two bathrooms. Fantastic views from the lounge area being on the first floor. Everything you needed for a very comfortable stay. Thank you

Great get away spot

We enjoyed our stay, it is a bit out of the way, but that is what we wanted. We found the the drive to places took longer than we were told but having no set schedule that was ok. Great view, quiet spot, and cozy accommodations! Only thing we had trouble with was the hot water. The tank did not seem to heat quickly nor be very large. It seemed to only last for 1 shower.

Bel endroit central pour visiter Fort William, Glencoe et Loch ness

Nous avons apprécié la localisation de l'hébergement, sa taille et sa décoration. La présence d'un lave linge est intéressante si, comme nous, vous faites un périple de quelques semaines. L'environnement , proche du lac, est sublime avec des vues superbes depuis les baies vitrées. 2 points noirs néanmoins : - les lits du haut étaient confortables pour les enfants, par contre le lit du bas ne l'était pas pour nous adultes. - nous étions 5 et uniquement 4 grandes chaises autour de la table ; l'un d'entre nous devait manger sur le canapé...pas top ! Nous avons enfin apprécié la rapidité de réponse de vos équipes lorsque nous avons eu un problème avec l'eau qui n'était pas chaude. Merci

A wonderful stay

The accommodation was very easy to get to as we were provided with very clear instructions. The location on the loch front was spectacular and the house itself looked very charming. Very comfortable accommodation with a well equipped kitchen for cooking meals. The stove fireplace was a lovely addition too and was on for our arrival, which made us feel very welcomed. Whenever we did have questions, West were very friendly and helpful. We would definitely come back or recommend to a friend!
