Serene Countryside Getaway in Spencer, NY

  • Our Vrbo rental is an absolute gem! Surrounded by beautiful country hills and farming fields, this spacious one-bedroom apartment offers a bright and open living space. With two private entrances, you'll feel right at home as you step inside through the high-end key card access. The main living area boasts an open concept design, with a dining space and a full kitchen that's perfect for your personal use. You'll find plenty of cabinet space and a fully stocked coffee bar to satisfy your caffeine cravings. The living room, complete with a charging station, is a cozy spot to relax and unwind. Just off the living room, there's a bathroom and a second exit that leads to a lovely porch. The bedroom, with its beautiful handcrafted barn doors on a unique ceiling track, offers a tranquil retreat. You'll find a comfortable queen-sized bed and all-new furniture throughout the suite. The kitchen features a full-sized propane cooking stove, a dishwasher, and a fridge with an ice dispenser. The large dining room table for eating and gaming. A big window in the back that overlooks the pool, creating a serene atmosphere. Plus, the location is fantastic for exploring nearby cities like Ithaca and Watkins Glen State Parks and the wine trails. Shopping at Binghamton or Horseheads. Touring the Historic town of Owego or Corning. And if you're feeling lucky, Tioga Downs Casino and Racetrack is just a short beautiful drive away. Our rental is truly a home away from home, offering comfort, convenience, and a beautiful countryside setting. We can't wait for all our guests to experience it! 🏡✨

    PET PARENTS:
I absolutely love to host furbabies and their humans, but to be fair to others who may be allergic and for the safety of the animals we have, I do have to be aware that you are bringing one. There is a small charge for the extra deep cleaning that is involved after a stay with pets. We ask that you do not leave your pets alone in the rental unless you have a carrier/kennel to keep them safe, new places bring a lot of anxiety to our babies and we never know how they're going to react. Thank you so much for understanding and being upfront about bringing your fur family to stay in our lovely Suite.

Lastly, we ask that pets stay out of the pool. A new liner from one scratch is a vacation bummer!

We had a wonderful stay! The space was on the smaller side, but it was cozy, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The full kitchen was a huge plus and made our stay much more convenient. We also really appreciated the thoughtful snacks that were provided—they were such a generous touch. The pool was fantastic and a highlight of our trip. Overall, this was a great place to stay, and we’d happily return!

This was a great place to stay! There was plenty of room, but it also felt cozy. The pool was a very nice addition on the hot days I stayed there. Abra is a terrific host and very friendly. I appreciate the attention to quality hospitality. The area is also central to many of the region’s attractions! Definitely recommended!

We enjoyed our visit. Our kiddos loved the pool and the quiet setting. The views and area are beautiful. The host was very thoughtful with the use of coffee maker area and snacks left for our family we really appreciated that. I will say the only thing would be if you need to work remotely or use internet it’s not the strongest connection but if you are not in need of internet connection it’s not a big deal at all. Otherwise great trip

Abra and Ed were wonderful hosts, friendly, pleasant to be around, completely answered any questions we had and had great suggestions for restaurants. The home itself is small, yet they've included all kinds of amenities that anyone would need. There was a snack station that had all kinds of goodies and a cute coffee station stocked with coffee and flavored syrups. The pool was beautiful and the big yard was great for the dogs. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it! Oh and the local country diner, only a mile away, was fantastic, we had breakfast there every day!

Stay in Spencer

We found our stay enjoyable with a pool right out the back door. We were on baby watch and our new grandson was 5 days late so we made arrangements to stay later and all worked out well. I loved the nearby town of Spencer and would definitely stay here again.

Leed Family Suite

The photos of the property were 100% accurate. We stayed 2 nights. The space was comfortable for the two of us. It was nice that the host left a snack station and a bathroom basket that had all those little things a traveler might forget in it.

Very pleasant stay

This was a lovely country styled cottage with amenities that we didn’t expect. The owner provided us with complete privacy although at our disposal at any given time. She has cottage stocked with snacks and most anything you would need and although it’s was too cold and rainy to enjoy the pool it looked so inviting. Would definitely stay there again!

Exactly as in the listing. The suite was clean and welcoming. The coffee bar was a nice treat. We really appreciated the kitchen amenities. No need to run to the store. We did not use the pool or backyard since it was off-season. Abra’s communication was excellent.

We loved staying here! It was the perfect getaway for our little family & Abra was so kind to make sure we had whatever we needed while traveling with our 8 month old. She even set up a portable crib for him & made sure everything was fully stocked for our stay. She put a lot of thought into little details in the home (had extra toothbrushes, toilet paper, paper towels, baby plates, etc.). We loved having a great selection of board games to choose from in the evenings too. Her family was so warm & welcoming to us I could go on & on. We really enjoyed exploring the area & relaxing at the pool on the hot days. It was a perfect little getaway!

Quick stay while visiting Cornell

The accommodations were very clean and well decorated. We booked because we were going to have our dog with us. He didn’t end up coming, but my daughter and I thought the place was perfect. Very clean and easy to check in. Extra touches like some snacks and drinks were there upon arrival and I totally appreciate Abra asking about allergies before we got there. We didn’t get to use the pool due to weather, but it looked super clean. Thanks for a great stay!

Sweet getaway to nature

This place was a sweet location for our trip to visit the area waterfalls. 4 of us and our dog stayed comfortably for 4 days. The owners are adjacent to the rental home and the pool is shared with them. 2 of us stayed on the air mattress and the owners generously stocked the home with treats, and conveniences. Everything was very tidy, clean, and well taken care of. Main bed was very comfortable and between the window unit AC and the ceiling fans, we were quite comfortable. Right outside the driveway is corn fields and very quiet, rarely heard a car go by. There is no recycling if you’d like to be extra prepared. We had a wonderful visit, and appreciated all the care and thought that went into the sweetly decorated place. Thank you host family.
