Located in the middle of the green Malvarosa is a shelter that offers its guests a cozy, comfortable and quiet environment. It consists of two independent structures equipped with all comforts.
Casetta Rosa is composed of two double bedrooms with two bathrooms, large living room with kitchen, covered outdoor area equipped with kitchenette, barbeque and outdoor shower.
Malvarosa Holiday House is located in the municipality of Spigno Saturnia, a small town located in southern Lazio on the slopes of Monte Petrella, close to the Aurunci Mountains Park. Strategically located between the hinterland and the Tyrrhenian coast. The structure is easily reachable from any direction and allows you to plan an interesting holiday ranging between sea, mountains, culture and history.

The lovely couple that owns this property lives next door. When we arrived, the husband showed us around with his broken English and my broken Italian. His wife brought us over bruschetta, mozzarella, other cheeses and salami, pizza, and olives from their farm. It was greatly appreciated after our drive. The house is outfitted well with everything you need for basic cooking. There is an outdoor kitchen available in a covered area just outside the door also. Just one air conditioner in the house and it’s located in the family room. We had record high temps while visiting (95 degrees F), but with the bedroom doors open and the fans placed in the doorways, we slept comfortably. The home is in the country and you definitely need a car to get around. They are putting the final touches on a small pool that will be so perfect when it’s finished. As far as amenities go, there is a washer available and a drying rack to hang your clothes. Bathrooms had shampoo, conditioner, and hair dryers. The fridge was stocked with milk and water, and there were bottles of wine for purchase that were reasonably priced. (We were also offered free beer or wine, and soda for the kids on arrival.) The parking space is tight, but our station wagon fit just fine. There’s an electric gate to keep your vehicle safe, and the house key chain has a remote for it, so no need to memorize any codes. The beds and pillows were firm. The family room bedrooms had TVs that worked well. It was a beautiful stay!

Casa Vacanza Malvarosa ha superato tutte le nostre aspettative. L'appartamento è esattamente come descritto, anzi più bello e confortevole! Perfetto per chi cerca un posto tranquillo, nel silenzio e nella natura e strategico per visitare sia la costa che l'entroterra. In casa abbiamo trovato ogni confort. Non manca davvero nulla. E la zona esterna ha tutto ciò che si possa desiderare (tra un po' anche la piscina!) what else? Ma la differenza vera l'ha fatta la cordialità, la gentilezza, la simpatia e la generosità della famiglia proprietaria della struttura: ci hanno davvero viziati comprendoci di attenzioni con assoluta discrezione. Vacanza indimenticabile!

Italien von seiner besten Seite! Wir haben zwei wunderbare Wochen mit der ganzen Familie in diesem herrlichen Urlaubsdomizil verbracht und waren begeistert! Eine schöne, absolut saubere und durchdacht eingerichtete Wohnung mit 2 Schlafzimmern, 2 Bädern, einem schönen Küchen-/Wohnzimmerbereich, top Klimaanlage und einem äußerst schönen Terrassenbereich mit Grill, zusätzlichem Küchenbereich, ideal für das sommerliche Kochen und einem schönen Blick auf den angrenzenden Olivenhain. Wir wurden von Francesco und seinen Eltern herzlich empfangen und betreut, immer erreichbar mit guten Tipps für Ausflüge in die Umgebung und ans Meer. Sehr hilfreich ist auch die Zusammenstellung von Francesco zu Restaurants, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und vielen anderen Dingen, mit der wir uns sehr schnell an unserem Urlaubsort zurechtfanden. Als wir nach langer Anreise abends ankamen, wurden wir mit einem Abendessen überrascht, dabei Oliven aus dem eigenen Olivenhain und vieles mehr, auch an anderen Tagen immer wieder mal mit selbstgemachten Spezialitäten aus der Region bedacht. Wir danken dir, lieber Francesco, und deinen Eltern für einen wirklich gelungenen Urlaub in Italien! Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und sind von der Herzlichkeit, die wir erleben durften, begeistert!

Consiglio vivamente di soggiornare presso la casa vacanze Malvarosa. L'abitazione è nuova, appena ristrutturata, molto bella e confortevole. Ottimo il gusto dell'arredo, sia all'interno, che all'esterno. Ma ciò che la rende speciale, è la calorosa accoglienza dei proprietari, sempre disponibili e molto attenti a soddisfare le esigenze di coloro che vi soggiornano. Persone di grande cuore, difficili da dimenticare.

Francescos Haus liegt sehr idyllisches in den Bergen. Es ist erst kürzlich erbaut worden und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet mit viel Liebe zum Detail. Besonders der ruhige und liebevoll gestaltete Außenbereich lädt zum Verweilen ein. Ausstattungsmäßig mangelt es an nichts. Die Umgebung lädt zum Entdecken ein. Auf der einen Seite kann man in den Bergen wandern oder mit den vorhandenen Fahrrädern radeln. Andererseits können Rom, Neapel und Pompeji entweder mit dem Zug von Formia oder direkt mit dem Auto in unter 2 Stunden erreicht werden. Ansonsten bietet die Region ein paar schöne Strände, Grotten und vor allem ein typisches italienisches Flair, das noch nicht vom Massentourismus, wie man ihn beispielsweise aus Rom und Florenz kennt, geprägt ist. Ein Auto ist allerdings zwingend erforderlich. Das größte Alleinstellungsmerkmal des Hauses ist allerdings Francesco selbst, der ein so bemühter und herzlicher Gastgeber ist, wie wir es bisher noch nicht erlebt haben. Da die Region touristisch noch nicht sehr erschlossen ist, waren es seine Tipps, die uns in sehr preiswerte und köstliche italienische Restaurants (teilweise inmitten der Berge), zum typischen italienischen Bäcker, an malerische Strände und an weitere historische Orte in der Gegend führten. Die Verständigung, auch wenn wir selbst kein Italienisch sprechen und in der Region kaum Englisch gesprochen wird, war in der Regel zwar etwas amüsant, aber klappte dennoch oft ohne Probleme. Francesco spricht jedoch perfekt Englisch. Wenn es Fragen gab, war Francesco immer sofort zur Stelle oder er verwöhnte uns mit einigen, teilweise selbst hergestellten Kostbarkeiten aus der Region. Francesco liebt seine Heimat und teilt diese Liebe mit seinen Gästen. Nach vielen Jahren Italien konnten wir so noch einmal eine ganz neue Seite dieses wunderschönen Landes kennenlernen. Wir wären sehr gerne länger geblieben!
