Beautiful bar terrace and amazing pool area. Literally 4 minutes walk from a beach with the clearest sea we have ever known. The owners/family could not have been friendlier or more helpful. They felt like our friends by the end of the week. We will definitely return. A wonderful stay!

The Ark Beach Hotel is beautiful and peaceful, with a gorgeous pool surrounded olive trees, a lovely beach, and stunning views. The breakfast buffet was great. What a find! But there’s more…the level of caring and kindness when we arrived after midnight due to a flight delay was amazing. We were welcomed so warmly, invited to stay past checkout while waiting for lost bags, and allowed to enjoy the beautiful pool and property which made Is (almost) forget the rough travel and lost bags and get our vacation off to a great new start. Couldn’t recommend this place more—THANK YOUArk Beach Hotel!

We had a lovely family vacation staying in the Squirrel apartment. Our eight and twelve year-old kids enjoyed the pool and walkability to a lovely little beach and town. The owners of the hotel were very kind and friendly, making us feel right at home. The apartment itself had all the essentials, it wasn't fancy but it was absolutely lovely. It was very clean, modern and had an amazing view. It was plenty of room for the four of us and we enjoyed our time here. We will most certainly be back!

The room was clean and comfortable opening into a semi private terrace. Fittings were a bit dated but fully functional and very clean. The continental breakfast was served on the rooftop terrace and was very fresh with ample choice. Our issue with this hotel is finding it and checking in. It was raining at the time but we really struggled to find the hotel There is only one small sign hidden behind a large cactus which you can only see once you know it's there. There is no staffed reception. There is a small sign asking you to ring a doorbell to which the staff respond and come out to you. We never saw it in the pouring rain. There are large building works in progress next door (where they are enlarging and existing school) and across the road (where they are building apartments). The building works were not noisy or dusty but added to the confusion if trying to find the hotel. On day two, in the sunshine, we were able to chuckle about the previous day.

Not as advertised

The room we received (rabbit) did not match the views posted from that room - large trees obscure much of the ocean view. There was a horrible smell coming from from the drain in the bathroom. We complained and were told to just pour water down the drain - this did little to help. The AC is among the items that do not power on unless your key fob is in the room, therefore there is no AC if you are out during the day. The room was very warm when we returned. Hotels.com lists numerous amenities that are not present - there is no front desk nor staff around to help with issues. There is no bar/lounge. There is no room service at all, much less 24/7. While the hotel is technically beachfront, it is at the top of a cliff overlooking the ocean. Beach access is from a public pathway that includes a walk with a steep staircase. It was clean (smell notwithstanding), and the owner seems nice when she is around. But this is a self-service apartment that does not have the amenities of a usual hotel, and the listing is misleading

We only spent a short time in the Ark but really enjoyed our time there m. The family are great and so helpful and the property is beautiful right on the sea. The roof top terrace is fabulous and has amazing views

Beatiful view from terrace to the sea. Very friendly landlords who are always available to help. Very nice beach is very close by. Nice kitchen and beautiful bathroom . Truly amazin experience staying there!

Underbart hotell och service

Jättenöjda med hotellet och servicen. Bästa av de vi besökt hittills i kroatien. Bra utbud på frukosten med fantastisk utsikt och takterrass. Jättebra service att vi fick frukost levererat till rummet kvällen innan vi skulle åka hem för vi hade tidigt flyg. Enda negativa var att stranden nedanför var väldigt trång och ingen skugga.

Vi hadde et veldig fint opphold på Ark Beach hotell. De som jobber der, en mor og to døtre er veldig skjønne, imøtekommende og hjelpsomme. Rommene er store og komfortable, det eneste minuset er at soverommet ikke hadde aircondition, slik at man må ha døren åpen til stuen. Det er litt upraktisk når det også ligger noen i stuen. Frokostterrassen er nydelig, med fantastisk utsikt, lett bris og skygge. Frokosten er også god, med mye forskjellig. Det er en ting som jeg ikke hadde fått med meg, og det er at det ikke lenger finnes et basseng. Det var ganske skuffende for meg, men spesielt for barna mine. I tidligere anmeldelser står det nemlig om bassenget. Stranden er maks 100 meter fra hotellet, ned en trapp. Dette er en fin og ganske fredelig strand, med gode snorkle muligheter. Alt i alt hadde vi et fint opphold her.

fantastisk upplevelse

Vi bodde på detta hotell i 7 dagar, ägarna/personalen var väldigt hjälpsamma och trevliga, frukosten var över förväntan, som en svensk hotelfrukost i miniformat. Vi fick låna badhandukar och parasoll till stranden som ligger precis nedanför hotellet, ca 1min promenad. stranden är den bästa och lugnaste i Stobrec. De öppnade frukostbaren även kvällstid för att kunna avnjuta solnedgången, och det bjöd även på deras egengjorda valnötslikör. Vi är jättenöjda med vår vistelse på detta hotel, och rekommenderar varmt detta hotel. Dock önskar vi att städning och byte av handukar/sängkläder hade gjort oftare än 1ggr/vecka, samt att gymmet hade varit tillgängligt för alla och inte kostade €20/dag och rum.

Hotel proche de la mer acces direct piscine très bien lit pour les enfants non fait a l arrivée clim a l arrêt qd on quitte la chambre donc pas facile de faire refroidir

De bedste værter man kunne ønske sig

Fantastisk hotel. Helt perfekt til familie ferie eller som jeg var afsted med min mor. Tæt på strand, dejlig pool område, lækker morgen mad. Og så det verdens sødeste værter. Jeg kommer helt klart igen!

Ark beach hotel

Hieman vaikea oli löytää perille, Google Maps ohjasi 50 m ohi ja hotelli on piilossa kadulta katsottuna. Isompi nimikyltti olisi hyvä . Muuten kaikki sujui todella hienosti. Henkilökunta (perheyritys) erityisen ystävällistä. Huone tosi siisti ja rauhallinen. Aamupala runsas ja tyylikkäästi katettu kattoterassin ravintolaan, josta upeat näköalat merelle. Uima-allasalue todella kiva ja siisti. Vain lyhyt portaikko alas rinnettä alueen parhaimmalle uimarannalle. Monipuolinen ja hyvä ravintola lähietäisyydellä. Matka Uberilla Splitin keskustaan maksoi reilun 10 euroa.

Fantastiskt lägenhetshotell vid utkanten av Split

Supertrevligt familjeägt lägenhetshotell. Fanns både pool och möjlighet att nå en fin klapperstrand via trappor med klart vatten. Härlig frukost på morgonen med fantastisk utsikt. Mycket serviceminded personal. Nära till centrala byn för restauranger men också nära till centrala Split m bil eller buss.

Amazing views of the sea from the property. Beach (pebbles) accessible from the property via a short flight of steps. Clean sea and beach with crystal clear waters. The hotel is family run and they go out of their way to look after you. We had am amazing time there and the local town is just as amazing with everyone so friendly and everything so clean.

Great service! Nice studio and a fantastic view. Most familiar hotel and nice host. We highly recommend this hotel with great restaurants and beaches in the sourandings of village of Stobrec. Really nice pool area and a super nice roof top terasse with a view over the sea. We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel.
