"We had a wonderful stay at Villa dei Fiori and would absolutely recommend it for a unique Joshua Tree experience. The owner was very communicative, friendly, and welcoming. They gave us an exceptionally thorough tour on arrival, walking us through every detail of the property, which made it easy to settle in and fully enjoy our stay.The home itself is full of character, with interesting art throughout that adds personality. The beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. The pool was a major highlight—beautiful, refreshing, and perfectly set among the desert landscape. It was exactly what we were hoping for and a great place to relax and take in the surroundings.The outdoor space is incredible, with rocks, caves to explore, and plenty of room to walk. We saw quail, lizards, kangaroo rats, and even a roadrunner (we were told the owner sometimes has treats for it, which was a fun touch).We brought our dogs and the property worked well for them, though there isn’t a fenced area for off-leash running. That said, we enjoyed walking them around the grounds.Overall, a peaceful, memorable stay with a great host—we would definitely come back."

"Had a great stay here in Joshua Tree. The place was clean, cozy, and exactly as described. The outdoor area with the fire pit was perfect for relaxing at night and stargazing. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the property felt private and peaceful. It was also conveniently located close to the park and local spots. Overall a really enjoyable stay and I’d definitely come back. And also very pet friendly. "

"The property is stunning! We typically like to dine out in the evening, but this trip we opted to cook our own meals so we could optimize the view and quiet! Communication with the owner was great as well!"

"Everything about this location was perfect for us. The cabin was very clean, the kitchen is spacious, and the beds were comfortable. The outside of the cabin is beautiful, just amazing to hangout out there and take in the scenery. I could have sat out there all night stargazing. The arrangements of plants and Toad Ranch outside the cabin are awesome. We saw so many amazing animals just outside the cabin; jack rabbits, various reptiles, beautiful birds, etc. The location was easy to get to and only about 10 minutes from town, but felt very remote and peaceful. Getting to the park entrances was quick and easy. Our host was great, very responsive, and had lots of good recommendations for us. I highly recommend this location and would absolutely stay here again."

"This home was by far the best of our many Vacation Rental stays in the Joshua Tree / Twentynine Palms area over the years. It was easy to find, great location, clean, and had all the comforts one could ask for. The host was very responsive to any questions or support we needed. We will definatly be back."

"This place inside was nice but there was dead bugs around the walls on the floor and left over trash underneath the couches. Seems like the cleaners failed to clean! Not only the floors were dirty but no paper towels or toilet paper or even trash bags were left. We had to buy our own toiletries which is not great for the amount of money we paid for this place. Too top it off we couldn’t even enjoy the pool or jacuzzi because we had to pay extra even though we had to buy extra toiletries. I don’t think we will ever stay at this place again. I will be asking for a refund because the place was dirty inside. "

"My husband and I enjoyed a recent stay at the Skelton house. It felt secluded with a fabulous patio view of the sunrise and also great for stargazing. Perfect location near the north entrance to Joshua Tree NP. After long days of hiking the spacious bathroom was luxurious and relaxing. Surround sound in main room was excellent and we enjoyed screen-casting our pictures from the day. Full kitchen was perfect for morning breakfast and packing lunches for a day hiking in the park. Thank you to our hosts for a fabulous stay! "
