“Great place to stay!”

“The room was spacious and beautiful. The staff was kind and professional. The breakfast was very good.”

“I stayed at this particular hotel several years ago, and was suitably impressed. There appear to have been some renovations done within the last few years. A very nice experience overall.”

“The hotel property and our room was looking run-down and shabby. It’s obvious that things like carpets, walls, trim, elevators, etc. have not been kept up. Our room smelled kind of musty, the carpets had stains, and there were some stains on the bathroom wall. The run-down nature of the hotel just makes it look not clean and not appealing. Some front desk staff are great - others are not very attentive and make you feel like it’s a chore to help you. There are no luggage carts to help haul stuff……

“Property was gross. Pictures online looked NOTHING like the room. Dingy, dark. Absolutely stank of stale cigarettes. Expressed my frustration of being duped to the manager through Expedia app and was disregarded. Felt more like an argument or her trying to prove a point than helpful. Would not provide refund for the first night although I was very upset and shocked by conditions. I’m sure there will be a similar response to this review. Anyway- drove 5 hours and didn’t feel safe at the property……

“Perfect location to everything (shopping and restaurants). Staff are helpful and friendly. Breakfast offered options for every one. Pillows in room are awesome. Hotel is clean and well maintained. Would definitely stay here again when visiting Spokane.”

“Convenient location without freeway noise. Ample parking available. Breakfast was great, staff were friendly. Common areas and our room were clean, but maintenance work and room updates were poorly executed (think quickly flipped house). I was most disappointed with the security of this hotel. When we arrived to our room after check-in, the door was open. Not unlocked, but actually ajar (door not hung properly). I notified staff ant the front desk twice on two separate days and yet the issue was……

“Several small things you don't get at an average hotel. I busboy clearing the tables at the breakfast buffet. Ceramic instead of paper coffee cups. That sort of thing.”

“Really cool old hotel in downtown Spokane. Loved the open space for hanging out in the middle of the hotel. Very comfortable room, bathroom was modernized and clean. About a fifteen or twenty minute walk to the carousel/park. The hotel was on the edge of downtown, near a rundown area with homeless encampment but felt safe enough to walk toward downtown and the park.”
