"Staff from the outset were friendly, welcoming and accommodating. I asked if another room was available due to possible noise from the Irish pub next door. They immediately gave me a new (better) room on the 24th floor which was excellent. Room facilities were good.The bed was very comfortable. The room was very quiet. The blackout curtains were effective. The AC worked well. The floor to ceiling windows gave nice views. Breakfast was standard (juices, hot foods, deli foods, cereals, coffee etc.) Breakfast started at 6:30am. Food in the bar and restaurant were fine. Good location (700m from Roma St station, near to Queen St Mall and a shopping centre virtually next door, close to South Bank after a walk across Victoria Bridge, near to North Quay ferry stop, close to buses.) Free WiFi, but fairly slow speed. I would happily stay here again."

"We book a few days at the Royal on the Park every year to shake off any jet lag from our flight out from the UK. This year we also booked a night before taking a Uber to the cruise terminal. The staff at the Royal are always very helpful and we've nevr had need to raise issues regarding room clenliness. We always book a room with a view of the botanic gardens. "

"We needed to check in quickly so we could catch a shuttle to the Australia Zoo and they were very accommodating. When we returned, our luggage was waiting for us in our delightful room. Everyone was wonderful. "
