Cunningham Cottage experience

Very pleased with our cottage stay! Everything was just as expected! The hosts even had homemade banana bread and fresh flowers from their garden on the kitchen table. Very quiet secluded location close to many shops and stores. Very peaceful each morning waking to the birds singing! Already planning our next stay. Don’t delay booking this one or it will be gone!

Our stay at the cottage was an absolute dream! We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay while my wife recovered from surgery. Terry and Gayla were so kind and helpful, and the view out of the big bay window was breathtaking. The personal touches around each corner, the welcoming note and homemade bread. It was also easy to get around and shower due to its handicap accessibility. They thought of everything! Every moment there allowed us to have the calming peace we needed. If you are looking for the perfect place to have a peaceful little getaway, you can’t find better than Cunningham Cottage! Every time we come back to Springfield, we hope to stay at Cunningham Cottage.

Cottage with garden

Beautiful and very clean cottage in a quiet peaceful setting. Close to many interesting restaurants and shops. Host very helpful and gracious. Made me feel welcome and comfortable. Would stay again and will tell friends about the Cottage.

Nice Surprise

I was impressed with this VRBO. It was tucked on a cul de sac, nice and quiet behind the main residence. I thought it was attached to the main residence, but it was not. It’s like your own private retreat. Hosts were very nice and take pride in making sure everything is perfect. This was a great experience and we will book again when we return to Springfield.

Cozy and private cottage

Great place!

Rented for our parents. They absolutely loved it. Due to weather they were unable to sit on the glider and have their coffee. They cannot wait to come back and do that next time.

Wonderful, warm and cozy

Gayla and Terry are lovely hosts. The Cunningham Cottage is clean, cozy and oh so comfortable! We will definitey book another visit at the cottage for our next trip to Springfield! Gayla was so welcoming and her homemade zucchini bread was such a treat! She was quick to respond to my texts and phone calls for information about the Springfield area suggesting great dinning and a wonderful nail salon. Watching the birds from the huge bay window in the breakfast nook looking out on the lovely garden was a wonderful way to enjoy breakfast every morninig. Don't hesitate to book with the Cunningham Cottage! Gayla and Terry made our stay in Springfield very special. Such a warm and welcoming couple!
