“Excellent location for visiting Sequoia and Kings Canyon NP. The host was attentive, the room was perfect with a fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and place settings for 2. I just hope the toilet paper was chosen for the septic system and not because they wanted that brand. I am glad I arrived in the daylight, the short dirt road in would be tricky in the dark the first time. Dining recommendations were spot on - good food, very friendly service, and close by. I wouldn't hesitate to book here……

“We got totally scammed at this VRBO. The house was essentially abandoned. Completely over grown yard, garbage on the porch, garbage throughout the property. The host never responded to questions about check in. Phone number we called went straight to voicemail and we were never able to contact the host. The gate to the property was chained up and had no trespassing signs with images of guns on them. How VRBO allows the property to be listed on their site still is incomprehensible. We are now……

“Very neat house and just a few minutes outside of the Sequoia National Park. Host was very communicative and accommodating when we needed to reschedule a couple months before our trip. Property has a NEMA 14-50 charger for EVs which was incredibly important for us and it made the trip absolutely perfect. Easy 10/10 and would not hesitate to book again.”

“Exactly what we were looking for! Clean space, comfortable rooms, had everything we needed. Stayed for a night with the parents before heading through sequoia. Had room to set up a telescope without issues. Good place to eat only a couple of mins down the road. Would highly recommend for a nice getaway!”

“The cottage was a perfect size for four adults. It was extremely well stocked and was spotless. The bed was comfortable and the setting was very peaceful. The host, Lis, was very responsive and attentive. There were a few good restaurants in town, but we fell in love with River View and became repeat customers.Stock up with groceries before you get into town. The location is incredibly good! “Great place! Super quiet and peaceful. Well stocked with everything you need. Super clean. The dogs come say hi in the morning. The horses hang out in the pasture next to the home. I especially liked hanging out on the porch with the gas firepit and soaking up the views of the mountains. Would definitely stay again. ”
