「I would not recommend this place, property was old and unkept. Bed was worn down, door doesn’t seal at the bottom thus letting in the cockroach that fell on my pillow during the night. Communication with owner was not good.」

「This is the second time we come to this peaceful house. And we plan to continue coming back in the future when we visit Kings Canyon National Park. The house is clean, comfortable and very quiet. We enjoyed spending time in the backyard playing board games at the end of our hikes. In the morning we enjoyed a cup of coffee while listening to the birds. 「The rental and host were excellent. Super clean and everything we needed. The host was great and had I read the directions correctly instead of only using the address I would not have had to call her late in the evening … which didn’t seem to bother her one bit. Cristabeth was super.The location was perfect for a base to hit a lot of different places in Kings Canyon. The distance isn’t too far but with the curvy roads you’ll want to take your time.」

「We stayed here over Labor Day weekend, 2025. It was amazing! The house and amenities matched the descriptions and photos exactly. Everything seemed to be relatively new and was in great condition. Terah was a wonderful host and responded quickly to any question I had. The kitchen was extremely well stocked with tools and appliances. The back yard was like a Disney movie - every time we looked out the window we saw animals. One evening the deer (mom and two babies) hung out for almost two hours....

"The staff was good, it has kitchen, living room and bed room. However, it smell bad inside, no screen on bedroom window, the hot tub was not working, either too hot or fully cold, no water if set in the middle. Every furniture is pretty old. Will never stay 2nd time."
