Everything about our stay was fantastic. This home is located right in the heart of the shopping, food, and music scene. Everything is within easy walking distance, which is good because parking in this area of St. Augustine comes at a premium. Fortunately, the host provides a parking pass to the city garage, which might sound like an inconvenience, but it's less than a 10-minute walk, and because the house is in the middle of everything, you really shouldn't need your car. The only negative, and it was minor, is that the wifi connection was spotty during our stay. To be fair, we didn't contact the host to let him know, so he did not have the opportunity to attempt to fix the issue. But we weren't there to stay in our room and scroll on our phones, so it wasn't a huge problem. The modem or router likely just needed a reset.Our room was on the third floor, which had a nice view of the surrounding streets. The balcony was great for people watching when we weren't out and about ourselves.You are in the middle of a very active restaurant/shopping district, so trucks arrive early in the morning to drop off supplies, garbage trucks empty the dumpsters, and things generally get moving around 6:30-7:00 a.m. However, we are typically up by then anyway, and if you're a late sleeper, it's nothing a set of earplugs wouldn't solve.Greg was very responsive and patient with our questions. Fantastic host. Our stay was 10/10, and we'd definitely book at this house again.
