Wasn't oceanview it was a block off the beach. Not sure where the outside pictures were taken 🤔. We had to ask for more towels we were only given 2 towels for 2 adults for a 3 day stay. Bathroom tap water smelled bad. We were put in a room that had college students in the rooms on both sides of us!!! They were very loud and gathered in front of our door until 3am. (Partying and fighting.)We were very disappointed that the staff allowed this to happen. Would not recommend.

Best Western Seaside was a great overnight stay. The young lady at the front desk was friendly and attentive. The beach is right across the street. We did not use the breakfast buffet or the pool/hot tub. I would recommend for a short stay in St. Augustine Beach. Check out Cafe Eleven down the road. Great food, service and music events.

I never write reviews. Decided it was worth to share. Manager was not accommodating. The safety lock somehow opened when I closed my door and was locked out of the room for 4+ hours while we waiting for maintenance. Our day was wasted as our car keys and money were inside the locked room. The maintenance staff proceeded to try to kick in the door and needed to use tool to pry the lock off the wall through the little crack the door was open. We had to fight for a single night refund! Tried to go in the hot tub on a rainy day but the hot tub was luke warm. They claimed the hot tub was as “on” when I asked to turn heater on. The day before the hot tub was hot to the touch. The cleaning staff didn’t come once during our 4 day stay. We brought our garbage down to a garbage can and asked for clean towels at desk. All in all. The hotel would be fine to sleep in and get to the beach. But when weather isn’t good or unfortunate events happen like getting locked out- this hotel was not concerned with a quick fix to better our stay. Or a refund for ruining an entire day. Or heating a hot tub on a cold rainy day. The manager was not very nice to costumers who were just trying to enjoy a short vacation and have never complained about a thing. This was just too many things to “let go”. Super disappointed.

The room was clean and the ac worked great. There was a significant lack of outlets near the bedside tables. I had to have my phone charging across the room. Breakfast was decent and location was great.

The room was fine. The buffet breakfast was weak. There was a loud banging all night in the wind - think it was the gates of the dumpster pen. That seems fixable. The windows face the parking lot and people can see into rooms if the block out shade isn’t down. It’s a fine place to sleep but that’s about it.

Our room was newly renovated and nice, but very small and tight for a family of 4. If you have more than 2 people and lots of luggage, know that you won't have much space to put things or even to move. Location and breakfast was nice.

Lovely place, great location, very clean. Beds were comfortable. My kids liked the pool. Free breakfast was a nice touch. As mentioned in previous reviews, yes the barn-door on the bathroom lacks a sense of privacy. Yes, there is a fee for parking, even though the booking sites all say free parking (approximately $16 as of March 2026). But we would definitely stay here again. I felt the price I paid was fair.

I was pleasantly surprised with this stay! I usually don’t write reviews but trying to do more so because I know they’re so helpful. This was the cheaper side of hotels in the area but it was soooooo nice!!! Rooms were very updated, very easy access to the beach, A+ will definitely stay here again
