Welcome to the charming Downtown St. Augustine Guest House, nestled in the heart of the historic city. Tucked away on a quaint, tree-lined street, our prime location is just a stone's throw from a delightful array of dining options, iconic historical sites, St. George Street's shopping district, the picturesque Bayfront, and all the city's attractions. You'll be pleased to know that Francis Field, where numerous festivals take place, is only a two-minute stroll away.

We've designed this sanctuary to be your perfect base for exploring the Old City. After a day of sightseeing, return to unwind and recharge in our serene retreat. The enclosed front, side, and backyard boast tropical lemon and orange fruit trees. Fancy a BBQ? Our private backyard comes complete with a gas grill, and a Bluetooth BOSE speaker is at your service for outdoor ambiance. We've even added a stone patio and fire pit, enhancing your home away from home.

Anticipating your every need has been our mission, and over the years, we've fine-tuned every detail. As VRBO Preferred Partners and SuperHosts, our unique home features artistic touches, including hand-painted Sticks furniture, Shoestring Creations headboards, and Mackenzie Child's decor throughout. We take pride in showcasing local art, particularly with a focus on mermaids, sea horses, and sea turtles, which lend our top vacation rental its captivating theme. When you stay with us, you'll have fun counting how many of each you can spot!

Conveniently situated just off San Marco Avenue, in St. Augustine's Uptown neighborhood, our location is surrounded by amazing restaurants and enticing shops, offering everything from clothing and home decor to vintage treasures. Definitely recommend! Good location, close to many historic places, yet situated in a quiet residential area. Home is lovely and decorated in a fun eclectic way. The Guest House is a lovely place to spend some time in St. Augustine! The property was relaxing, spacious, beautifully decorated, and well equipped for our stay. The location is quiet, but easily walkable to the Visitors Center, Trolley, etc. The owners kept in contact throughout our initial reservation and stay.

A Treasure Chest in the City

Close to Everything!

We spent a week in this property as a family of four with two teenagers. It was centrally located within walking distance to many of the to-do’s in St Augustine. The house was well appointed with all necessities and even had many extras that were extremely useful and enjoyable, like the record player and Bluetooth speakers. The living room was perfect for relaxing after a hot day out walking the historic district and sightseeing. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Best Ever Home We've Stayed In

This home is extremely charming and very well decorated. It was spacious and comfortable. The owners were extremely responsive to a couple of questions we had for them. They really thought of everything. Even supplies of often forgotten items were provided in the bathroom like toothpaste etc. The kitchen was clean and well equipped. Its just a short walk to the fort and St. George Street. We would definitely want to stay again.

Charming home in walkable neighborhood

We had a wonderful stay at the Artisan Cottage! Wendy and David were marvelous hosts. The home was very clean and had more supplies and amenities than we could have anticipated. The decor was fun, charming and eclectic. The communication with our hosts was great. The home was a 10 to15 minute walk to historical St. Augustine. There was excellent on-site parking. We would highly recommend the Artisan Cottage to anyone visiting St. Augustine!

Beautiful House in a Great Location!

We had a wonderful time staying at this property. Amazing location (St. George St. is only about 8-10 min walk!) and a beautiful home with all you could need. They provide all the essentials so you don't need to go out and buy little things you may have forgotten, including spices, foil, toothpaste, etc. My kids (9 and 12) loved playing cornhole outside and sitting by the firepit listening to music in the evening! We had an issue with the microwave where it ended up dying on our 3rd night. The owners responded SUPER quick and sent out a countertop one for us to use (within 1-2 hours!) until they could replace the over the stove one. Their response time is great and they're super easy to work with. I wish they owned properties in more locations :) lolWould 100% stay here again and recommend to anyone looking for a nice, quiet, but CLOSE property to downtown.
