It had mold in the bathroom. Fridge wasnt working. Horrible shower, rusted.

Pet-friendly: welcoming for pets even though we didn't bring out dogs... they have a dog park. The breakfast was the same every day - eggs, sausage and pancakes. I did not like the way the food looked. This place used to have very good breakfasts and the daily menu was different each day. No anymore - so just understand you will probably have to buy your own breakfast each day in addition we had to pay $20 a day for parking now. So we will find somewhere to stay during our trip to St Augustine.

La habitación estuvo bien la limpieza, la piscina está abandonada y sucia , la máquina de hielo llena de moho,un ruido que no te deja dormir, en el comedor donde te sirven el desayuno los termos de café y te sucios , llegamos a desayunar 15 min antes de cerrar y 5 minutos antes un empleado comenzó a subir las sillas con personas todavía desayunando, eso es una grosería, la cafetera de la habitación sucia y rota cuando pedí que me la cambiaran por otro modelo de cafetera la respuesta fue que ese modelo de cafetera era para la habitación deluxe y saben cual es la diferencia entre la deluxe y una habitación regular? Un mueble y la cafetera todo lo demás es igual . Las toallas viejísimas, dan pena que pongan eso en las habitaciones, tengo fotos y vídeos de todo lo que acabo de describir y son problemas que llevan tiempo y no lo solucionan pues cometimos el error de no verificar en google y están las quejas de otros clientes por lo mismo , es una pena que no atiendan las quejas,no recomiendo para nada este hotel asegúrense de buscar en google también pues por esta aplicación parece que filtran las opiniones

The staff was very helpful and friendly. We just went for a quick 1 night stay because we were going to a concert but it was a great place to stay. We’ll definitely stay here the next time we find ourselves in St Augustine. It wasn’t super crowded and parking was easy. They even had semi truck parking available for my dad, which saved us from having to pick him up from a truck stop. Great experience overall.

The hotel is clean, the staff are friendly and professional, and the pool is fabulous. The downside breakfast is less than desirable the same thing everyday, no fresh fruit and coffee runs out before breakfast is over. The bed is pretty hard and I prefer a softer bed.

Like most of old St Augustine, things are old & showing their age. That being said, the stay was pleasant, breakfast was good. We would stay again.

We had a wonderful stay at Southern Oaks Inn. The pool was the perfect place to cool off after busy days visiting family. We found it was very easy to get to the beach or explore the downtown area by car. Our room had a lot of space and was very clean.

Very nice stay and shuttle to Visitor Center was great! I didn't like the $20 a day for parking, it should be in the price of the room, I feel it is a way to nickel and dime people.

The room was so noisey due to the dehumidifier that my wife and I barely slept all night. I complained at the front desk and was told it was Florida law to have it and it could not be turned off. They offered to move us to another room but what was the point in that. Every room has the dehumidifier. They offered to try and find us a room at another hotel. Sure, just what we need after an 8 hour drive. They must know how bad it is to even offer to do that. As if that wasn't bad enough, the shower head was filthy, ( I have pictures ) so we didn't dare take a shower. I dont know how bad the other rooms are but take my word, room 262 JUST DON'T GO THERE.

Mr. Dustin was our concierge and he was very helpful and professional. We enjoyed a clean room, clean bathroom and nice beds. The only thing is, that when you book the room they don’t tell you there’s a parking fee of $20/day. Only when the booking is done, they disclose that additional charge. Breakfast was good. We will comeback some other time when it doesn’t rain as much… Thanks.
