「You could easily spend 3 times more elsewhere for the same hotel room that I stayed in at the Russell Days Inn. Very clean and had all the amenities I needed. It was obvious that the owner/operator took care of the property. Will stay here again if opportunity arises.」

「This place is doing about as much as it can with what it has. It's definitely quite old and certainly outdated. It has some very aged components and a few things that are recently updated. The things that need work are the floors, the plumbing, the door frames, the mattresses themselves, the electrical, the fixtures. The bathroom counters, the stairs up to the second story rooms, the ac units, and a few of the furnishings (beds, tables, dressers) showed some evidence of somewhat recent updates....

「We had a family group in Hays for FHSU graduation. This place was perfect! Beautiful location, private, not too far from town and everything the listing said it would be. Great, fun, comfortable home with everything you need plus! There's the sweetest cat that lives outside and fish to feed in one of the ponds. No neighbors for a mile in any direction with nice views of the countryside. The icing on the cake is that the hosts are just the best! Thank you! We will be back!」
