"This was probably the best hostel I’ve ever stayed in! Great location, friendly and helpful staff, included breakfast options were great, everything clean & tidy and working correctly! 100% would recommend - to groups of young people interrailing etc, older solo travellers, even families with young children there are excellent provisions for. "We are glad we chose this hostel for our one night stay. The only tricky part was finding the S21 to Trogen as it is past the train station near a corner and unmarked, but a local helped us. The hostel is a short walk down a steep incline from the Birnbaume stop. It is clean and the breakfast is adequate. The view from the cafeteria is lovely. Board the S21 back towards town to Marktplatz to visit the Cathedral and Abbey Library."

"Just what I was hoping for as a first youth hostel experience for my grandsons. Quirky, clean, fellowship and fun! Sheets are included in the price, but towels are extra. We recommend the Turkish style restaurant nearby for dinner...Sara's Bistro. The Breakfast buffet at the hostel was plentiful. Would go back again."

"Pros- beds were comfortable, it was quiet, full kitchen was great, self check-in went smoothly. Cons- some overlooked areas in cleaning- smears of something on walls and picture frames, a dirty cooking pot, etc. The main problem was the shower. While it looked very nice, it was poorly designed. All of the water ran to the end of the shower and out into the bathroom instead of to the drain. Even after a very short shower the water had flooded the bathroom almost to the door. "Excellent location. Walking about 15 min on the same street to City Center. Quiet place. Very clean. The place had everything we needed for our trip, including kitchen utensils. Everything we did was via machines and we did not meet a single person. It was a bit weird but everything worked out. The check-in machine on the right did not have the letter "D" so that was a problem."
