Cozy cabin on the lake

We loved this cute little cabin with a beautiful lake view. Decor was very rustic and cute and furniture was super comfortable. We came up for an ice fishing tournament, and would love to return in the spring/summer to enjoy even more of the lake.

We loved the setting and amenities! The boat landing was very close, the dock space, the cleanliness, etc. Our family had a great time and will definitely come back. Close to town for shopping and necessities! The fishing was great too!

Cozy Northwoods Retreat

Beautiful Fall trip

The cabin was cosy and the fireplace was a big plus. The bathroom is definitely smaller than anticipated but the empty cabinet helped with that. Probably the best stocked cabin kitchen that I've seen in terms of cookware. A bit off season so relatively quiet, which was great! Beautiful for fall colors and views of the lake. Really enjoyed our stay.

We are 3 70 y/o men. 2 of us were bothered by too many close neighbors. also the pier had nowhere to sit and was shared by a close neighbor who parked a pontoon there. Cabin was well kept and well located, great view, nice decor.

The cabin was really nice. The only things not so good were the bathroom was pretty small and tough to move in the shower. Someone though might want to check out the peak of the cabin because there were wasps that got into the cabin.

Mother's Day Get Away

The cabin and grounds are very clean and everything you need is provided including shampoo, body wash and conditioner in the shower. The view of the lake is great. Wildlife included loon, ducks, couple squirrils, deer and bald eagles. Great place to stay.

Clean and nice cabin for two people. More than 2 will be too much. Parking lot by house. Only thing whats not ok it is shower. Too small, you can barely turn around. Everything else perfect.

The fans vents in the bedrooms looked as if they weren’t dusted for over a year making our stay very uncomfortable. The bed frame was black from dust and dirt. The bathroom wall had something spilled all over it and the bathroom vent was so full of dust it didn’t work. This cabin could be sooo perfect and cozy if it were properly cleaned and cared for. Super disappointed

Cute and quaint like you'd expect from a cabin. Had some trouble getting the ac to work properly and weren't sure about being able to use the grill when the rental agreement said no. But overall a very nice stay.

My Northwoods visit

The cabin looks perfect! We had beautiful views of the lake. It was the perfect size for me and my sister to visit the Northwoods. Love sitting out on the porch, walking along the trails, seeing all the deer. Made friends at the lunatic bar. Karen the bartender is awesome and makes amazing homemade shots. We talked about riding in the guestbook, but we spent so much time in the Northwoods. We forgot and ran out of time. Love that area. I will be back.

Cabin not clean upon entry, poor customer service

Upon arriving at our cabin we walked in to a property that was not cleaned from the previous guest. Sheets were stripped from the bed, food was in the fridge, garbage in the bathroom waste basket etc. Much to our horror, the property management company, Vacasa, told us via text that the '..best option for you is to stay at home. I will make your request to be prioritized. Please wait for our Local Manager to call you...' In other words, stay the night in an uncleaned cabin and deal with it until you get a phone call. Nevermind that we sent you this text at 6:30pm and we have no idea as to when it will be resolved. What really chapped me is they sent me a text at 6:19pm asking '...how clean was the room when you arrived? Reply with a rating from 1 to 5 (5 being the cleanest)...' They knew since roughly 5pm that the property was not cleaned and yet they still sent automated insults like this to my phone. Thankfully we had family that lived roughly 30 minutes away and we stayed with them the night. The 'Local Operation Manager' never contacted us. The next morning I called Vacasa at 8:08am demanding resolution by noon or we're to cancel our stay and request a full refund. Out of nowhere they said the cabin was now cleaned with no explanation. My wife and I planned this trip for 4 months and it caused unnecessary stress on us both. Being told to sleep in an unkept property was insulting and the lack of effective communication to get the matter resolved made it worse.
