"We had a great stay during the very hot UK weather. The cottage stayed comfortable and relatively cool though as it is well sheltered and shaded. Comfortable sofas and beds, well equipped kitchen, good water pressure for the showers and simple check in and check out process. A quick 5 - 10 min walk in to town and a moderate climb back up which wasn't too bad. Plenty of beaches, shops and bars near by and a great convenient location in St Ives to stay. "Really enjoyed our stay , not a complaint but I guess there could have been a conversation around the assigning of the rooms where the larger suite was given to a party of 1 and smaller to two . More about just how things are communicated . The place was amazing , loved its location and the facilities within the suites were ideal to be able to accommodate if deciding to cook our own meals ."

"Great property with an excellent location. Lisa was very helpful sorting out some issues at the start. It was clean but certainly no frills or additional extras. It’s only equipped with basic amenities for cooking. We had hoped to buy local produce and cook at home, but pans weren’t even big enough to make pasta for 2 adults and 2 children."

"A wonderful stay at Headland House. Fenella was incredibly helpful and made sure that our stay was fantastic. The room was very high quality and the bed was really comfortable. They had great amenities, such as beach towels and mats to borrow, as well as coffees and hot chocolates in the room. The location is really convenient, so close to the beach and to the train station - the views are beautiful! The breakfast was brilliant and the cake of the day was a really lovely touch too. We will definitely be back 😊"

"We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful B&B. The owners were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable, we had a nice view out on to the sea. The breakfast was wonderful, too - great variety of foods, fresh and local ingredients! We did enjoy the location - it’s a short walk to the beach in Carbis Bay and the perfect location for exploring surrounding areas. We would love to come back in the future."

"We had a lovely 5 night stay here. Location is excellent. We initially planned to stay in St Ives but due to the parking situation decided to stay in Carbis Bay instead. And there is parking spaces at the property as well as on street parking When we checked in , the lady was friendly and helpful The room was clean, bed was comfortable, shower was great, had free wifi and fridge was stocked with juice, yoghurts, pastries as well as there being tea and coffee available and milk Location was perfect. It’s a 5/10 min walk from Carbis Bay beach, which is a lovely, chilled out beach that looks absolutely beautiful. We had a wander to the next beach across through a lovely scenic route in the hills Also St Ives is a 3/4 minute train ride from Carbis bay, or a nice Half hour walk Finally there were also some great places to eat nearby, we had an amazing fish and Chips at Becks which is just a few minutes walk away, had a couple of great meals at The Gannet and also picked up some yummy cakes from Yvettes Pantry which was a 10min walk away There is also a Costcutter right next to the property which came in handy, as well as a Tesco roughly 10/15mins away"
