Good Experience

The home was as shown in pics. Very spacious, great job with renovation, and clean. Fenced backyard, screen porch, & garage were a real plus! Very safe & walkable neighborhood, & pet friendly. Easy access to shopping & beach. A great find for my extend-stay needs. Management responded very quickly to my minor needs.

Wonderful

This is our second visit to coastal cottage. The house is clean and just beautiful. We love everything about it, esp the 3 season porch and the fenced in yard. It’s a great location to downtown Southport or the Oak Island beaches. The neighbors are incredibly friendly and the development is beautiful. It’s a great walking neighborhood. We love stagers. It feels like home.

Highly recommend this home! Exceptionally well appointed, clean & comfortable. Property Manager extremely responsive & helpful! Best rental we’ve had in 10 years of visiting the Southport/Oak Island area! Tips for future renters-bring fire stick or similar device in order to use tv& no ice maker so be prepared to purchase ice or additional ice cube trays. Small details that had no impact on overall Great experience.

Nice house in great location

The property did look like what was online. It was very clean on arrival. Check in was easy. We did have several problems. The binder in the house was to have instructions on using smart Roku TV. There were NO instructions. Unable to get nbc,cbs, abc or fox. Property manager and owners were unable to help. Extremely annoying!! We got an antenna which worked great. The owner did reimburse us. Just beware. The propane tanks for the fireplace and the grill were empty. Just know there are no instructions on how to use the fireplace. You will have to ask property manager. Both tanks are now full. Also know there are NO hangers. There are no kitchen extras. No spices, s&p or storage bags etc. There are beach towels, but no beach chairs. It’s a nice rental property just needs to be checked on to make sure everything is in working order. We spent a lot of our vacation time trying to make things right. If you find a problem report it. The owner will make it right if he knows. This property could be a 5 star , just needs better communication between renters and managers.
