"Harbor Lights"


Harbor Lights was designed to have everything a couple needs for the perfect Caribbean getaway. Overlooking Coral Bay Harbor on Seagrape Hill. Great water views of the Harbor and Hurricane Hole. The property is blessed with gentle easterly trade winds so even the summer months are comfortable.

Enjoy your morning coffee on the porch or your favorite cocktail after a restful day on one of St.John's breathtaking powder white beaches.
Beautiful 20 foot tiled pool that gets plenty of sun, and is always a comfortable temperature.

Full kitchen(built in radiant 2 burner cook top,full size frig,blender,microwave,toaster oven,dishwasher,coffee maker),Weber gas grill, very comfortable king mahogany four poster bed, air-conditioned, and private open-air stone and tile shower with a view!

Beach chairs and beach towels provided. Great for honeymoons or romantic getaways. Maho beach is only a 8 min.drive.

Note: guests have the entire property and private pool. Nothing is shared. No pets allowed.
Property is managed locally by Miller Property Management.

Cute little place near Coral Bay. Perfect for those looking for remote and quiet. The owners were INCREDIBLY helpful in dealing with a sudden change in our plans. Definitely a place for a couple to consider for their next St. John getaway.

for the goat enthusiast

we loved our stay here. It was so fun to hear the little goats come down every morning and drink from the pool. The location is great with a beautiful view of Coral Bay and the drive to Cruz Bay wasn’t too bad which we did quite often property was clean. I will say they do need to add some weatherstripping to the outdoor shower door as there were quite a few 6 and 8 legged critters getting in but thats island life!

Outstanding view, but...

The view and balcony are awesome! The property manager was very helpful getting us in the property late at night as our flight was delayed. The house was ok for the money. However, we were expecting a 1 bedroom per the description and it is a studio. The dishes were dirty and the washer/dryer are difficult to access. The goats will come down and drink from the pool, which is kind of fun, the first time; but, their hoofs make an awful sound when clomping on the wood deck and this begins around 5:00 am making it tough to sleep. We put a bucket of water at the top of the stairs for the goats, which reduced the noise a bunch, but not completely.

Romantic tranquility

We loved our first stay here. The bungalow was perfect for two with a gorgeous view right from bed. The pool and outdoor showers were private and so nice each morning or night under the stars with the lights turned off. Loved sitting on the porch as I am now listening to jazz with my coffee and my love. So much wildlife around too! Roosters, donkeys, cats, goats stopping by our pool and birds. Very close to Francis and Maho! Just a great stay. Went to skinny legs for great food and service just below too!

Perfect for Two

Great spot for two to relax and enjoy the view. Looking right over Coral Bay. The pool is awesome. We loved the sound of the Mourning Doves cooing, donkeys braying and roosters crowing as we had coffee on the deck. Being just 2switchbacks away from Skinny Legs was a plus. Beaches were easy to get to.

Harbor lights in March!

There was nothing not to love about Harbor Lights! The views, the goats coming for a drink at the pool, proximity to Skinny Legs, grocery store and other bars, outside shower, even the weather including brief showers and rainbows that followed, it was all amazing. The drive to house wasn’t too bad, a couple of switchbacks and you were there; my husband preferred backing down driveway it was a little tight but still Manageable. Our next trip to the Caribbean will be right back to St John and Harbor Lights!

Perfect for couples

This was our second vacation to St John and my wife and I really enjoyed our stay. The property was very clean and well maintained. We enjoyed the fact that it had a great view but was not so far up the hill that driving up and down was annoying. It was in a great location, very close to Coral Bay restaurants and shopping as well as a short drive to beaches on both the north and south shores. It was fun seeing little goats come to drink out of the pool daily as well. It had everything we needed in regards to kitchen equipment, supplies, etc. The King bed was very comfortable and the outdoor shower was a fun twist. Just 2 small suggestions to make the property even better: Because there is only one small bathroom, it would be handy to have another mirror on a wall somewhere. Also, there is a small gap in the door leading to the outdoor shower that could be easily remedied with some weather stripping to prevent bugs from getting in. Overall, great stay, would come again!

Anniversary getaway

We celebrated our 15th anniversary and had a wonderful time. This villa is located on the more quieter side of the island with a little less places to visit versus Cruz Bay but we made a point to see and do everything we could! It is right off of a main road and easily accessible. You cannot beat the view from this villa and it’s located on a well paved road. The mostly private pool was great after a day of hiking and beach visits. We did have some ant problems in the bathroom but the property manager was eager to address it. There was also a roof leak but it did not hinder our stay. Things were a little dusty like the overhead lamps above the bed and all the dishes on the shelf. We did have to clean the trap to the dishwasher as it smelled foul when we arrived. The property manager was very responsive with any concerns and overall we had a great stay! No place will ever be perfect but the minor concerns were outweighed by all the great things of this place.

Relaxing Getaway

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at harbor lights, it had all the amenities we needed. The property is located on the queiter side of the island which we really enjoyed, however is still just a quick drive to the main beaches. Great restaurants near by in Coral Bay. We also loved the private pool in the afternoons. What a treat, we hope to be back again someday!

Harbor Lights Villa

Perfect get away spot for 2 people. Very private with good water views. Well equipped. Pool was great but had no hand railings for entering the water. The king size bed was very comfortable with plenty of pillows, although the mattress was 33 inches above the floor and difficult for a short person to get into. Overall it was a great experience.

We so enjoyed Harbor Lights in 2016 we decided to return to St John and stay there again. Beautiful, quiet, private cottage. It is close to several resturants. The pool was great after hikes and beach days. I would definitely recommend.

Quiet & peaceful - Amazing!

Beautiful views, comfortable bed, own pool (other than the goats getting a drink when they don’t think you’re around. 😂) yes, shower is outside but private. We will definitely stay again.

Great little spot, loved the pool!

The house was well stocked, had everything we needed, the outdoor shower was a nice touch and the pool was perfect! The road to the place has a couple switchbacks but nothing worse than most of the roads you’ll take to get to the beaches. Beautiful view looking out to the bay.

Relax and enjoy

Our time at Harbor Lights was a slice of paradise. Sitting on the deck looking down at Coral Bay was absolutely beautiful. Relaxing by the pool after a day at the beach was a great way to end the day. The house was clean, equipped with everything you need. Beach chairs and a cooler made life easier. Our host was quick to answer our emails and was helpful getting us settled. The highlight of the staying at Harbor Lights was watching the goats come and go from enjoying a drink from the pool. We would definitely go again.

Heavenly Coral Bay location

When staying on island, Coral Bay is our favorite place to be. It is quiet, peaceful & beautiful, yet close to activities, restaurants & local events. What made this trip even more relaxing & restful was getting to spend it in the lovely little home perched above the bay. The studio layout was perfect for my husband & I. The kitchen area was spacious, a propane grill at the ready, & there were two outdoor tables at which we enjoyed our meals. The deck was spacious; a perfect place to tuck in with a good book & some sunshine. We especially loved the outdoor shower constructed of local stone. And there is simply nothing better than waking up to the view of the surrounding mountains & sparkling water while perched in the rather tall, king-sized bed. Our favorite part of the home was the private pool. It was such a joy to be able to take a dip each morning & evening. Staying in this home helped make our first trip to STJ in five years a perfect welcome home.
