The property was perfect! The view from the deck was awesome and the place was extremely clean! They even left a fruit, cheese and cracker basket, with wine, in the fridge, to welcome us to their place.

This place exceeded our expectations. Especially the balcony view. Our host Marcus was extremely helpful and accommodating. The beds and rooms are very comfortable after a long day at the beach. This place is an oasis all by itself.

Unbelievable property

We have been all over the Caribbean and have rented all over St John in multiple properties. This rental is an incredible gem, the views of the sunset and glittering St Thomas are spectacular. Minutes from beaches, grocery, Cruz Bay there is no better location on the island. The hosts have been on the islands for decades and are a font of excellent information and respond very quickly to inquiries. The house is incredibly taken care of with a whole house generator so you are never inconvenienced with the frequent outages. The biggest takeaway, we loved it so much we extended our stay and are trying to book it again for a return trip. The property is new to the market and less known, if it is available, grab it, it is a very special place.

Amazing View!

The unit is perfect with an AMAZING view from sun up to sunset from porch. Check in was easy, perfect location to hit the beaches, dinner in town or shopping. We frequent STJ and this unit is a new favorites! Marcus was great for communication. The unit is very clean and well stocked with all the things you need for a great trip. We can't wait to come back!

It is hard to summarize just how perfect this property is. Our experience is punctuated by incredible experience with the owners. On the first day we experienced the dreaded equipment failure that is no ones fault but would be a vacation wrecker if this were just an average property (managed by a company). The owners live near by. Immediately on our notice of the issue they sprang to action proving they care about us their property and us as guests. I expected parts would be needed from somewhere else and professionals would take hours to get on site. Marcus and Patty made themselves our personal assistants, driving us to town, assisting in shopping and retrieving our vehicle from St Thomas, lending facilitation to any request. Remarkably, due to swift action and knowing the right people on the island Marcus pulled off a fix to the equipment midday. This was without inconvenience to us beyond our angst that it wouldn't get fixed.Vacation Rentals are unique. If there is a failure a management company gets you in line. At Sweet St John 2, you'll be the ONLY focus of the owner, no one else. If you are new to vacation rentals, that makes all the difference!This property is very near Cruz Bay, just say, 5 mins from your dinner reservation. I hated to leave the place because the VIEWS, oh my! a 180 degree plus view west, with St Thomas right in front. Sunsets are awesome. You have NO houses in your view even though there are a least 5 below you to waters edge. U want this PLACE

Amazing stay!!!

Marcus and Patty a were incredible hosts!! The villa had everything we needed…..especially a generator! Thank you Marcus for keeping power pn when the island was out…..for nearly two days!! The trip would have been VERY different without power….no A/C, no water water, no cooking….UGH!! Marcus and Patty were incredible and very attentive. STJ….a little slice of heaven!! We will definitely be back!

Beautiful View & Sunsets

We had a great vacation. Sean met us at the circle and walked us through everything with the house and checked in during our stay to make sure we had everything was going well. The beds were comfortable. Beach chairs and towels that were provided were great. The oven was out of order during our stay. The kitchen was well equipped but could use a decent frypan. We met Marcus before we left and had a nice visit,

Beautiful place with a view

We enjoyed our stay at this lovely condo located on a hilltop above Cruz Bay with spectacular views of St. Thomas and surrounding islands. Host and property manager were so kind, helpful and welcoming; we felt right at home from the moment we arrived. Property is clean and comfortable with all essentials including beach equipment. Highly recommend staying here!

Absolutely stunning sunset view

The house is perfect for two friends or two couples. The location is minutes from Cruz Bay, and they had beach chairs, cooler, sunshade, beach towels, washer/dryer….all great touches that were so helpful. It was a well stocked kitchen and they even had welcome fruit and wine. Hosts could not be nicer or more helpful. Great location from which to explore the island. We sat on the porch every morning and night to enjoy the view. (It’s a better sunset view than the Windmill Bar, fyi) We’d definitely stay again!

Jewel of St John

Absolutely perfect!! This amazing little villa has the best views, perfectly set up with security of a gate, super clean, Sean and Jenna were perfect hosts, and the property owner was so pleasant to speak to. Marcus, owner, was so inviting from the start and he wanted honest feedback on how he could improve. No improvements needed from all the necessities he provides to the welcoming cheese and fruit plate upon our hungry arrival. Totally recommend 10/10!!!!

Simply perfect

Ok, so the coffee filters were the wrong size, but this was still a perfect stay! Great location, very convenient to Cruz Bay and beaches. Cleanliness? Spotless, very impressed. Host and his team very helpful, especially since our flight was delayed 4 hours. They went above and beyond to meet us on arrival and get us settled in even though it was Saturday evening. Beds comfy, well stocked kitchen and beach items clean and ready to use. My go to place to stay on St John, hands down.
