Very friendly proprietor greeted us. He had sent a welcome email saying early check-in was available and we took advantage of this arriving just after 12. They offer to keep your luggage on the day you leave so you can explore the area without the hassle of bags. The hotel although a bit dated is very clean and very comfortable. We had a room at the top of the house with amazing seaviews. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom although small was again very clean and had a lovely powerful shower. All in all for a seafront property it was a great price and great value for money. Would definitely stay here again !!

It was discusting, black mould, ajoining door to a stranger.!!!! Woken by snoring!!!! Felt like the bloke was next to me. Upsetting for £70 a night....should have slept on the beach.

After a long drive From Bristol and sorting through things after a bereavement, I found Grand Hotel very welcoming. The Manager Pete was very understanding to our situation. He made us feel very welcome and comfortable. We were in room 18 overlooking the beach and sea, the amnesties basic, kettle tea coffee etc, bathroom was equally good and clean. I can’t fault this hotel. Easy parking till 10am will be definitely be recommending the Hotel to Family and Friends.

Perfect location, lovely seafront property

Lovely property right on the seafront. Within 2 minutes walk of bars and restaurants in St Leonards and 15 minutes walk of Hastings town. Lovely owner, very welcoming. Comfy, clean rooms.

I needed a room for the nite and it provided me with what i needed. I would suggest the matteresses are changed and the shower is looked at. They are either cold or really hot. It was difficult to modulate the temperature to a warm setting. The matress was too soft
