We were told it was unsafe to use their valet parking because it’s outside. There were also some strange tiles at the pool with symbols that looked like swastikas. Everything else was pretty good.

Had booked and paid for a 4 day stay for a business trip to St Louis. Arrived late the first night to be told that they had already deleted my booking and would only accommodate me if I paid them an additional $1400 for a new booking, which I declined to do. There were no issues with me or my booking apart from that I apparently arrived too late, even though they advertise 24 hour reception. The person at the desk then told me that I would at least receive a full refund, but the hotel actually ended up attempting to keep the full $800 I had paid them. It took 4 days to be able to get even a partial refund, and I’m still out hundreds of dollars for a stay that never happened. Plus the first night was absolutely miserable- I was told that the hotel wouldn’t let me stay there after it was already too late to book anywhere else, so I had to sit in the hotel lobby all night with my bags. The decorations are pretty though.

Beautiful hotel with onsite restaurant, bar and coffee/breakfast shop. Historic building in downtown St. Louis in walking distance to City Museum, soccer, hockey and baseball stadiums, union station. Very nice room with comfortable bed and spacious bathroom. We did not eat at restaurant but hostess, Meg, was very friendly. The bar was great - bartender was knowledgeable and attentive (young man). We enjoyed the parlor room with shuffleboard and pool table. Workout room was nice. Valet parking attendants were excellent and helped arrange golf cart service to Busch Stadium. Museum was between exhibits so we were unable to visit it on second floor. Breakfast shop food was okay and servers were not friendly. We would stay again.

Such a nice hotel planted in a nasty and scary area. It’s a shame that it’s not closer to Busch stadium where it feels a bit more safe. We were nervous to park our car there. We noticed a car window had been broken out and laying in the lot. The hotel itself is beautiful and staff were great. It’s very modern and clean. Overall though the city itself is nasty and scary so it’s not the hotels fault.

It was a beautiful hotel. Love the scenery. Love how the remodeled the building. It was nostalgic for me. I use to play in that building with my dad as a child. The staff was nice. I did not like the parking.

Overall, this hotel and the stay was very nice. I liked: Uniqueness of hotel and room Very nice bathrooms and big tub Three elevators for quick arrival/departure Front desk very nice Check-in easy Great burgers at restaurant Valet staff very professional and quick I didn't love: Ice machines locked and unavailable and even front desk seemed confused Had to use valet bc no apparent parking "Bartenders" clearly cannot handle any volume Wouldn't walk around in area, seemed sketchy to me. But just a quick uber ride from everything. Like i said, very nice hotel overall.

The staff was wholly apathetic towards guests. There was not an ounce of professionalism among them and is showed in the dust in our room and the atmosphere of the hotel in general. Dont get me started on $50 per night valet in godforsaken St. Louis.

This hotel is in the former YMCA building and they did a great job keeping many of the old features like tile, woodwork, etc. The 2nd floor is an art gallery and part of that is in an old basketball court. Amazing! The rooms have all the modern conveniences. We loved our corner king because no one walks by your room! My one suggestion is that instead of the free bourbon sample coupon we were offered at check in, perhaps a choice could be offered instead of bourbon for us non-drinkers. Like a cup of coffee or a juice?

Excellent short stay for a Cardinals game. Perfect location. We really appreciated the assistance of the evening valet, I think his name was Kevin, who suggested and arranged a golf cart shuttle to Busch Stadium. Very comfortable, fresh room. My only suggestion for all the 21c hotels is an update to the body/hand wash with its foul smelling “rum” fragrance reminiscent of a 1970s disco filled with wafting musk aftershave 😉

The art and decor were interesting. The location was not ideal to get to shops, restaurants or the convention center. It could have been cleaner. The coffee shop had limited hours and I was never able to visit. The hotel bar was too busy with an event in the private room and it took a long time to get served at times.
