I stayed at the Comfort Inn & Suites St. Louis - Chesterfield and had a really disappointing experience. The room was not clean at all. There were bugs inside, and to make things worse, part of the ceiling was completely open with exposed pipes visible. This is not only unprofessional, it felt unsafe and not suitable for guests. For a hotel that’s supposed to provide comfort, this was the complete opposite. I have photos documenting everything, and I’ve reported the conditions because no one should be staying in rooms like this. I would strongly recommend checking your room carefully before settling in, or considering another hotel altogether.

The staff was friendly. The room was clean but very dim and tight. The room fits four but was very tight with one child. The bathroom door opened toward the bathroom, which made it very tight. Overall, the hotel needs an update. The breakfast was okay but the waffle mix was separated as my son tried pouring it on the waffle maker. I chose this hotel because of the location. The hotel was fine but I would not recommend.

Our shower only had cold water. The air conditioner was noisy. Although my breakfast was adequate it was not hot. The bedside table had coffee stains on it but we didnt drink coffee On a positive note the beds were quite comfortable.

Literally a glorified Motel6. Our room was filthy. Floor was not vacuumed or swept, all the bedding had weird brown stains, and the bathroom was disgusting. Unclean shower floor with rust stains leaking on the faucet and handle bars. Only one out of three employees we spoke with were pleasant. The money spent on this stay was not worth it whatsoever. Will never stay at a Comfort Inn again. Gross.

The staff was the only nice thing about this place. The breakfast should be eliminated. The breakfast area was disgusting and no one was cleaning tables or counters. The food was disgustingly lacking. The entire building looked run down. Our room had the toilet paper roll holder ripped out and the roll on the back of the toilet. The sink counter had broken drawers and the fridge didn’t work right which we found out after our food spoiled. There were so many other hotels in the area that were the same price and we were there for a sports event with our kids team so we saw a lot of other hotels that weekend and all of them were better than this one. I’m not that picky but this made me never want to stay at a comfort inn again.

the beds was extremely hard, there was a bed light that did not work and the carpet felt filthy also there was an odor throughout the building. the toilets stopped up and the front desk agent gave us a plunger with a bag of waste (poop) on the bottom all over.

After my first review I found some more issues, there was several long hairs on the wall of the shower, the carpet hadn't been vacuumed, there was a coin and small piece of trash between the beds. The bed was comfortable, and the sheets appeared clean, and it is as pictured. I almost asked for a vacuum and some bleach wipes, but I didn't.

Good Breakfast. Extra $3.50 charge at check-in. Nice room. Very roomy & clean. Floors in lobby needed cleaned because of snow & salt. They would have had plenty of time at night to clean. It looked like an accumulation of many days. Overall good stay.

Check in person was very friendly. Room was ice cold when we first arrived at 8:45pm. Outside temp was 15 degrees and they had the heat completely off in the room. Set the heat to 90 to heat room quickly and its blowing lukewarm at best. Literally only a few sheets of toilet paper on roll and no extra in the bathroom. Would not recommend at all.
