Very nice guest house

Very nice guest house, everything is done to make sure that we are comfortable. The owners are very nice people and can give a lot of advices ans help you with a cooler, booking etc... Nice location also, you can walk to the beach, restuarants, etc... The breakfast is really great. We really enjoyed our stay there and will definitely come back. One more thing we can see some monkeys from our house :)

Igwalagwala Guest House: Best in St. Lucia

The iGwalagwala Guest House is in pristine condition. The rooms are extremely clean, the breakfast is varied and tasty, and the pool is also extremely clean and welcoming. The place is extremely well run and we will definitely be back on future stays to St. Lucia. On top of it all, the location is close to all the shops and restaurants.

Highly recommend this peaceful guest house

Igwalagwala is a great little guest house. The staff are friendly, helpful and willing to book excursions etc. The main lounge/dining area is incredibly calm and peaceful and the whole place is a great, quiet location in which to relax. The bedroom is a good size, we had a room with a tasteful modern four-poster bed and a couple of arm chairs looking out through patio doors that overlooked the pool area. The profile picture showing the exterior of the guest house does not really do this place justice. Admittedly, not the most beautiful building from the outside, but don't be put off as you feel like you are staying somewhere that really cares about its guests and wants to give them the best experience they can. The breakfast is also very good and they offer 'picnic' breakfasts too if you are heading out early on safari. The guest house is about a 5-10 minute walk into town, so, far enough out to be quiet and peaceful, but close enough to access everything the town has to offer. We would happily return.

Enorm gastvrij ontvangen en de eigenaren zetten graag een extra stap voor je. Zo hebben ze diverse excursies voor ons geregeld, maar waren ze ook heel flexibel met de tijden van het ontbijt toen we vroeg moesten vertrekken om een vlucht te halen. De kamers zijn ruim, netjes en sfeervol modern. Het ontbijt is goed, net als de ligging. We zouden Igwalagwala aan iedereen aanraden!

Excellent place to stay

From setting foot in iGwalagwala Guest House our hosts made us feel very welcome and couldn't do enough to help. Our family room was spotlessly clean and really nicely laid out. Lovely to open the doors on the pool garden area. The children thoroughly enjoyed the pool. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Great Location in St Lucia couldn't have asked for more.

Guesthouse charmante et très bien tenu

Comme le dit le titre, c’est une guesthouse charmante, joliment décorée, très propre et très bien tenue. La propriétaire est très attentive à ce que votre séjour se passe bien, elle a le souci du détail et elle est accueillante et donne de bons conseils. Nous sommes arrivés dans la matinée et avons pu laisser nos valises. La chambre ( familiale) est spacieuse et confortable. Nous avions vue sur la piscine. A savoir: Tout la salle de bain est intégrée dans la chambre avec des parois tout autour et une porte mais pas de plafond; dès lors, quand on va aux toilettes, toute la chambre peut entendre ce que vous faites. Il y a une toilette dehors à côté de la piscine ce qui peut être une solution si la situation vous dérange. Le petit déjeuner est très bon et varié d’un jour à l’autre. Nous avons pu goûter un excellent pain fait maison. Il y a une table réservée pour chaque chambre. Le quartier est très beau et la guesthouse est proche de la rue principale où se trouvent les restaurants. La région est magnifique. Il y a un parking privé. En résumé, c’est un excellent choix si vous souhaitez séjourner à St Lucia. Un tout grand merci à toute l’équipe!

Accueil sympathique. Beaucoup d'explications de la part de Patricia sur les choses à faire dans les environs et sur la guesthouse. Hall/piéce de vie/salle de petit déjeuner magnifique. Chambre spacieuse et confortable, jolis meubles. Attentions délicates. Seul bémol : pas de porte à la salle de bain (un peu gênant pour l'intimité).. Propreté impeccable. Petit déjeuner très joliment présenté, bon. Piscine agréable. Parking fermé. Tout était parfait, nous voulions rester 1 nuit de plus mais c'était complet.

Lovely hotel with helpful manager

Lovely guest house, room was comfortable and clean. A little dark as it was in the corner but, as we had a family room, we are not complaining. The manager, Dieter, couldn't have been more helpful - organising our boat trip and a service wash for our laundry. Breakfast was plentiful - the fruit salad was delicious.
