"A lovely historic hotel in a beautiful historic town. Our first time in St. Mary’s and we will definitely come back to Spencer house. The breakfast was outstanding! Very friendly staff."
Historic 5 Bedroom Home, Walk To Cumberland Island Ferry
10/10 Excellent
"This was an absolutely beautiful property! Everything about this home was wonderful. The decor and furnishings made us feel at home, cozy and pampered. The kitchen became a gathering place as was the bright and comfy living room with plenty of seating. Each of us in our group of 5 had our own bedroom, and with 3 baths, there was no problem with space to get ready. Our only wish is that we could have stayed longer to take advantage of areas of the house we didn't have time to use (the gorgeous dining room, the second story balcony). This property is not a property that is decorated to be minimally acceptable - it truly is like you are in someone's home with books, artwork, linens etc. that make a house a home. The host was wonderful, providing proactive communication so our booking, access and stay were easy. Highly, highly recommend!"
