The Monopol Hotel

"We booked this hotel for a special occasion. We were so impressed with the rooms, the location of the hotel and the amenities. When we were there, there were some small incidents that resulted in my rating of 4 out of 5. There seemed to be some plumbing issues. Our shower was not draining and resulted in some flooding which then leaked to the room below. The hotel staff were very professional and quick to correct the situation. The suite that we were moved to also had some tub drainage issues that didn’t affect our stay but could be better maintained for future guests. The pool area was relaxing and a perfect spot to unwind after a few busy days of site seeing. We anticipated a good soak in a hot tub however the water in the hot tub was the same temperature as the pool. (Still warm but not hot). There were some added features in the pool that were also out of order, again, didn’t negatively impact us but would have been nice to experience. The sky bar was a lovely space to enjoy the view and cocktails. The hotel was located close to the main square and also to other points of interest in Wroclaw. We will be staying here again in future, without a doubt."

"As far as a hotel Wyndham was above the rest. Comfortable beds, clean, quiet, had available snacks. The only complaint for my husband and I was that we like our room chilled when we sleep. For some reason we could not get the room cold enough. Oh and we love love love the idea of providing a water glass for refills and a refill station by elevators. What a great concept!! Oh and Im not a tree hugger although I DO LOVE TREES.. lol"

"Although I did change rooms due to some issues. The staff like Karoline made sure to take control of the situation. The hotel still rates very highly in my opinion because it is beautiful. It’s opulent and mesmerising and the decor are modern I enjoyed the breakfast, the food, the dining and the breakfast and the experience. Although issues happened during my stay, I would come back here again. The Spa and Gym area are with Sauna and Steam room a bonus and the guy this morning was super helpful."

"Loved the location. Close to shopping, restaurants, and a nice park. Room was bigger than I expected. The air conditioning worked well. Plenty of storage, Bedding was great, so comfortable. It had the largest safe I have ever seen in a hotel. Very clean. Also, i really enjoyed the breakfast. Excellent selection. I enjoyed the omelettes and the banana peanut butter smoothies! Would love to stay here again if I returned."

"Excellent breakfast! However, what impressed me most was the management of the hotel. My sisters and I stayed at the hotel in three rooms. We initially stayed there for one night on The way to a wedding venue. My room was noisy and the safe was broken. I brought this to the attention of the hotel management. After the wedding we were coming back to the hotel for four nights. I therefore requested that we would be placed in rooms on the top floor, and I agreed to pay the difference in price. When we came back, we got excellent rooms overlooking the garden AT NO EXTRA PRICE. I really appreciated this gesture. This hotel is excellent for families. We enjoyed the garden and since we were so well treated, we will definitely stay here next time we are in Wroclaw."
