“I stayed at Almost Paradise from March 12-26 and the best way I can describe it is as a dream come true. My adorable cottage sat on a hillside overlooking the ocean, and waking up every day to the gorgeous view was one of the amazing things about my stay. “The broad back porch offers a view from high above the bay to the the wild foliage covering the hillside, the beach below and the islands in the distance. A full kitchen lets you enjoy breakfast and afternoon drinks while you ponder the view. The rooms are rustic, spacious, and comfortable. “There is no "almost" about it. We thought it was completely Paradise. Exactly the sort of place you want, coming to a tropical island from the cold of the North. The host bent over backward to ensure a pleasant stay and it seemed a much longer visit than the seven days we were there.”

“We absolutely loved everything about this place and Roxanne, Ingy and Naka were the best hosts we have experienced on our many travels. Beautiful natural surroundings and views. Roxanne restaurant (the old slip way) is well worth a visit - superb food and ambiance. Also paradise beach. ”

“Host, Catherine, was prompt to respond to messages and provided detailed directions to the property. We were warmly welcomed and given a cottage tour by her lovely family member upon arrival. Catherine kindly stopped by to say hello later on. Local general store/hot food within 2 minute walk. Grand Anse Beach 10-15 minute taxi ride. Enjoyed our quiet and relaxed remote night stay in the lush mountains. Thank you for your hospitality.”
