Quiet apartment, adequate for our family of three. The living room is quite big and even though we had the sofa bed out the whole time, it didn’t feel cramped as there was another sofa for sitting on. Washing machine was convenient. Gabriella and Michel are both friendly and very helpful. Car parking was easy and hardly tight. You just slot in behind the hosts’ car and they always leave enough space. The balcony was shared but the hosts respected our privacy. During the whole time we were there, we had the exclusive use of the balcony. But note this is downstairs and not on the same level as the apartment.

Schon der Empfang durch die Vermieterin war herzlich und man fühlte sich willkommen, die Unterkunft sauber und sehr schön, mit toller Terrasse mit eben solchen Ausblick. Drumherum tolle Gastronomie, was will man mehr?

Super Lage mit schöner Aussicht und sehr netten Vermietern

Schon ca. 1 Woche vor der Anreise nahm die Vermieterin, Gabriella, mit uns Kontakt per Mail auf, um die ungefähre Anreisezeit abzustimmen.Wir reisten am Samstagnachmittag an und waren sehr überrascht, als Gabriella uns auf Deutsch begrüßte. Es sei zwar schon viele Jahre her, aber etwas Deutsch könne Sie aus der Schulzeit. Sie zeigte uns die Ferienwohnung und wo wir alles finden, was dazu gehört. Beim Ausräumen der Koffer fanden wir dann noch Seife der Vormieter in der Dusche. Wie wir später im Gästebuch gelesen haben, waren diese erst am Vormittag ausgezogen. Dafür ein Stern Abzug bei der Sauberkeit. Sonst war alles TOP, die Terrasse bietet eine tolle Aussicht über den Salzwassersee und das Umland. Gabriella und Ihr Mann, Michel, sind sehr freundlich und jederzeit hilfsbereit gewesen. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und wären gerne länger geblieben und werden bestimmt wiederkommen.

Ein außergewöhnliches Häuschen

Wir haben den Aufenthalt genossen. Viele Ziele in der Nähe. Marseille, Camargue, Pont du Gard, Avignon. Die Küchenausstattung und die Terassenliegen brauchen mal eine Überprüfung.

we were disappointed by this property and only stayed one night of the 7 booked. we did not feel it was cleaned to a good standard. it felt old and tired compared to the pictures. we did not expect to be upstairs from the owners or that we would be sharing the terrace. the priate parking was behind the owners car in a tight space on a steep uphill. there was no mention in the description that there were 3 cats on the premises. the check in process was strange as we had to meet the owner in a car park by some recycling bins to then get access to the village through the barrier. we noted other favourable reviews but we were disapointed

Très pittoresque

Wir waren nur drei Nächte dort, haben den Aufenthalt aber sehr genossen. Es ist kein Sternehotel, aber die Aussicht am Morgen und das steinerne Dorf am Abend sind einfach umwerfend. Gabriella spricht Deutsch, Englisch, Italienisch und natürlich französisch.

Incredible experience

We had an incredible stay in Miramas, the apartment is located in a medieval town about halfway up the hill; nearby are some great crêperies that we went back to many times. The balcony was the highlight of the apartment, with an incredible view over the water and every sunset. Gabriella was a gracious host and always available to answer questions, she also was quick to say hello every time we saw her. With four people the apartment was a bit cramped but I would stay here again in a heartbeat if I was planning another vacation in Provence.

Cher Michel Thank you for a wonderful stay in your charming house in Miramas le vieux! We loved sitting on your patio with fantastic views of the surrounding landscape & l’Etang de Berre. Visits from Romy, the affectionate black kitty, were an added pleasure for us! The quaint village is busy with foot traffic for the ice cream shops but otherwise very very quiet. The apt. is well stocked with a perfect kitchen, large walk in shower & more great views. M le vieux is centrally located for various outings in Provence & the Camargue. Fabulous views from light and airy apartment located in mediaeval village

My husband and I spent 3 months over summer at Gabriella and Michel’s apartment in Miramas le Vieux, a mediaeval village located at the northern tip of the large Étang de Berre in the south of France. The apartment is light and airy and true to the photos, with an independent and secure entrance via a huge, private terrace. Gabriella and Michel are wonderful hosts. They respond to requests very quickly but are respectful of privacy. The apartment is well supplied for a short or long stay and has the bonus of a private parking spot next to the apartment within the village. Both the apartment and the terrace have amazing views over the Étang de Berre and the countryside, while the terrace is the perfect spot for daytime and evening meals, entertaining or just relaxing. We had a lovely time; thank you Gabriella and Michel!

Beautiful spot to relax

The positive reviews are all correct here, we absolutely loved our stay. Nice location for day trips, easy drive to the beaches of the Mediterranean, or to Arles. But most of all we enjoyed relaxing and reading with the breeze of the étang flowing through the windows. The terrace is amazing and we enjoyed having drinks and playing cards while soaking in the view.

Enjoyable Stay

We spent a quiet time around New Year in the apartment and enjoyed it very much. It is well equipped and comfortable. The ancient village on the mountain is very serene, and the view of the Berre l'Etang is marvellous. Very kind hosts!

Beautiful apartment, lovely village

A fantastic apartment - spotlessly clean, very well equipped and comfortable. There is a wonderful and large terrace with amazing views over the village and surrounding countryside. Erholung und Ruhe weit oben

Äußerst herzlicher, persönlicher Empfang mit Erklärung zum Objekt. Unterkunft mit grandioser Aussicht auf dem Etang & mit liebevollen Details, wie auch großzügiger Ausstattung. Es ist alles vorhanden. Das sehr kleine Dorf bietet 3 Restaurants und 2 Eisdielen, jedoch keinen Lebensmittel-Laden. Man deckt sich lieber vorher in Miramas ein. Danke für den tollen Tip für an den Strand. Sehr schöne Umgebung. Vielen Dank an Gabriella für die tollen Tage.

Vacances très agréables

Nous avons pris cette location pour profiter en 1er lieu de la terrasse car nous connaissions très bien la région. On a pu recevoir nos amis sur la grande terrasse abritée toujours ventée avec des rideaux si besoin en fin d'après midi. Les propriétaires qui sont sur place sont charmants et discrets. Le gros plus : le parking à proximité de la location. Manque plus que le jaccuzi ! Nous reviendrons sans hésitation en famille pour revoir nos amis.
