Walking distance to the village and beaches. This was a great location that came with perks like gift cards to local restaurants which we really enjoyed!
The property was even more spacious than expected, and everything we did around town was a walkable distance from the condo. We loved our stay and would absolutely book again!
Property was exactly like the pictures and as described. It was in walking distance to everything. We had three generations staying there and it was wonderful. Highly recommend this place

My family and I (2 adults, 3 children and 2 infants) stayed at this location and it is so convenient. You are able to walk to the pier, light house, shops and restaurants! We had everything we needed right their in town including beach access! It was such a great place to stay and the host made it so easy to get in touch if any issues or questions were to arise!
This property is in a wonderful location. It is close to everything we love about St. Simons island and is tucked away so there is privacy from the busy street. The property was clean and the perfect size for my family of 5. I would definitely recommend it.
The location was amazing and right in the heart of the village and next door to one of our favorite restaurants (we ended up eating 3 meals at Porch while we were there). Because it shares a parking lot with the restaurant, guests should expect a higher level of traffic and noise as restaurant employees are pretty regular back and forth in front of the property. The added traffic was a small price to pay for a great location, though.
It was our first trip to SSI. The condo was walking distance to everything we wanted. We enjoyed relaxing on the upstairs deck during our downtime from our trips to the beach..The noise from the restaurant we shared a parking lot with did not bother us since it closed at 9 PM. We plan to book again.
We had a nice time at the condo. It was very clean and well maintained. The property management company did a great job with communication and information.
The stairs are a bit hard to manage with luggage so we used the purple steps to each bedroom for ease and convenience. In all the location and quality of place was worth the cost. Would like a bigger outdoor grill to use.
The location next to an ice-cream store was something my kids enjoyed. You can easily walk to many restaurants and stores. Really safe and friendly area.

My wife and I returned to St. Simons for our first anniversary because of the pace of life and the politeness of the people that live there. This VRBO was absolutely excellent. It was very clean, very well priced, the location was excellent. You have a reserved parking spot. You can walk to any number of amazing dining spots (Palmers village cafe, and Porch are our favorites for casual and crabdaddys for a more sit down atmosphere)
You can’t go wrong with a place like this.

Not the best, but not bad
The location was not ideal and we never heard from the property manager at all. Still, we enjoyed ourselves but would not stay here again.
The property was clean inside and spacious however it is located in the parking lot of a restaurant. There is a designated parking spot that is very narrow wedged between the fence and another stationary vehicle. The parking lot is shared with the restaurant so on busy nights we had people park in the designated spot and the parking lot was full. Every morning there is something going on typically a leaf blower at 8 am so if you're planning on trying to relax in the mornings this is not the place. Warm water for showers only last roughly 10 to 15 minutes so for a family it is difficult to get more than one shower in. The property manager did address the issue with someone parking in the designated spot quickly and was kind enough to give us a gift card but clearly this location is very busy, crowded, and loud since it is located in the parking lot of a restaurant.
Well appointed unit, comfortable stay. Between the hours of 4:30 - 5:30 am and 9:00-10:00 each night, there was enough noise to wake us from loading / unloading at The Porch restaurant next door. Other than that all went well.
This unit was located in the perfect location where we could walk to the downtown area and parks. It was perfectly sized for our party of 3 (two adults, one tween). The Wi-Fi worked great as did the television. None of the rooms felt cramped; their was plenty of space for each person as well as all our things.
Overall our stay was wonderful. Like other review mentioned there was noise from the restaurant but it was not worse than living in a busy apartment. I think adding some curtains to the windows could help this tremendously. My only complaint is that there is not a deadbolt on the main door.
Awesome location! Literally right at the Porch! Perfect for walking to the beach and restaurants, shopping. Very clean and nice. Would not hesitate to recommend or stay again. Check-in/out super easy. Easy Reserved parking 1-spot so if you have more than 1 vehicle, you might need to plan.
Having read the previous reviews, we came equipped with white noise apps, which tremendously helped with the outside, restaurants noise in the early morning. This location cannot be beat for access to restaurants, parks, pier. We had a slight issue due to some storms and the management company responded right away. The only downside was sharing limited parking with the other unit and the restaurant. Overall, a great time at a good location.
We enjoyed a perfect 6 nights in this very spacious and comfortable apartment. The living area downstairs includes a well equipped kitchen, a utility/laundry room spacious enough to store luggage and beach paraphernalia. Big plus is a kitchen door that opens on a fenced side yard, perfect for storing more water toys, grilling and also for pets to “keep an eye on the neighborhood”
There is some noise associated with the Porch restaurant next door- mostly with early morning deliveries and employee prep at start and end of day. We are early risers anyway - so it was no big deal, and the employees were always very courteous and friendly.
The two bedrooms upstairs are spacious and comfortable as well and each has its own bathroom. Each bedroom has a tv as does the downstairs, so very easy to keep folks entertained on those rainy days. An outdoor seating veranda is also accessed from these bedrooms. There is an exterior stair to take you to ground level.
This leads to the one caveat I should mention. In the interior, the first and second level are connected by a spiral metal stair. While we were fine with that, our 12-year-old 95 lb. “puppy” absolutely refused to engage. Fitting his long torso into a corkscrew shape apparently was a no-go. It might also be something to consider if you have toddlers who think they are Spider-Man. This was not a problem for us as we used the veranda stair when it was time for our “lapdog” to go upstairs for bed.
Finally, it is a really fantastic location, very accessible to the village, pier and beaches on foot. Thank you! We look forward to returning!

Review
Parking is a real issue with this property as it shares lot with Porch Restaurant. Also lots of noise associated with the restaurant, (deliveries, and apartment shares space with restaurant stock room. Our first night they started pressure washing restaurant equipment at 12 am.
Place was clean, but spiral staircase is not ideal for pets and small children.
As other reviewers mentioned, it is noisy. Lots of noise in the mornings with the leaf blowers and the next door restaurant getting prepared for the day. Every time the AC kicked on it also created lots of sounds.
The kitchen was not as equipped as we would have liked for it to be. It had everything we needed but we had to wash dishes in the middle of preparing a meal just to have enough dishes to finish.
It had a great supply of toilet paper, dishwashing soap, and towels.
The location was great for walking to several restaurants and shops. There are public beach accesses near by, but it was about a 10 min walk to the closest public beach access during high tide.
