Shannon was a delight to work with. We had a slight hiccup coming down, but she made our stay better than we could have imagined. Would definitely book with her again!
We really enjoyed our stay. The accommodations were very clean and comfortable. The condo is located in the Sea Palms Resort and is quiet and convenient to restaurants in St. Simons and the surrounding areas. Would definitely return.
Great 2 bedroom 2 bath villa with full kitchen. Balconies off the living room and master bedroom. Great location for activities in St Simon Island and Jekyll Island.
We loved our stay here. The view is wonderful. Morning sunrise over the wetlands, and the wildlife was great. Super quiet, but close to everything we needed, walkable neighborhood, what more do you need?
It was such a nice Two bedroom home to stay in. My daughters room with 2 twin beds was far from ours but close enough to hear. Our bed was so comfortable and plenty of things to do and places to eat close by. We enjoyed our stay so much. The marsh view was beautiful.
We picked this place because my sister is a wildlife photographer and she wanted to be on the marsh. We saw deer, otters, raccoons, of course all types of birds. We also got to enjoy beautiful sunrises, full moon and a lightning storm. Beautiful views from every room. Every single one of my family members were impressed with this condo and all it had to offer. Can’t wait to go again!!
This was perfect for what we needed. There was an entire part of the condo we didn’t even use. That’s how big it was. The bed was very comfortable in the views were great.
This condo was a spacious, well-appointed and clean place to stay on SSI. We really enjoyed staying here. We all three walk or jog daily and enjoyed walking in the lovely surrounding neighborhoods. We enjoyed watching the various marsh birds from the screened deck, as well as the open deck when the tide was out. Highly recommend!
I rented this condo to spend a couple of days with my grandsons. The layout of the rooms were perfect for granny and two college students. I arrived a day before they did so you can imagine my shock when my 71 year old self had to drag her bags up two floors because the elevator was out of order. Also there was no working light in the toliet area of the master bathroom which made it difficult to see in the shower, and the bed sheets looked old and dingy. Other than that everything was delightful.

This is a very nice property under normal circumstances. Unfortunately, it is currently in the middle of a construction zone. The property manager informed us a couple of days before the vacation that there was some construction "a couple of doors down" from the unit. That is not the case. The building the unit is in and the building next to it are undergoing complete renovation. The halls are full of construction dirt, and there is constant noise of saws and hammering. The unit itself is renovated, pleasant, and clean, but this should be taken off the rental market until construction is more advanced or complete.
This property was very clean. It is a little tired and could use some updating. That did not keep us from enjoying our stay. Wish it had a washer and dryer even for our three day stay. I would not stay there for a longer period because of this. The marsh view was very beautiful! There is also construction going on and we knew this in advance, so we were expecting it.
This condo is part of a group of buildings which were built on the edge of a wetlands about 4 miles from the ocean. It is on a very nice golf course property with a quality mid price restaurant. It is actually 2 apts, each with a bathroom. The master bedroom has a large bathroom, King bed and has the fully equipped kitchen, with a living room and a wonderful screen porch. The other bedroom has a large bathroom 2 large beds with a cold bar with a small refrigerator and
a open with a roof sitting porch. The wetlands water level goes up and down with the tides. You can sit out and watch nature go about its routine.
This condo must have recently been updated and painted.
It has beautiful floors, nice furniture, new matrices. The front door uses an electronic push button lock and the 3 story buildings have steps and an elevator per building. We were on the second floor. It is an extremely quiet area. I would say maybe 40% of the condos are full. Parking is plentiful, free and each building has a luggage cart like ones used at hotels. We ate breakfast and some dinners there and every lunch we traveled the island and found an abundance of wide selection of medium priced seafood restaurants, which the locals use.
We also found Italian, sandwich and bistro restaurants all over the island. There are nice white beaches mid island and you need to watch the high and low tides to visit them. The 15 street beach was pure white, clean, few people and parking is limited. The coastguard beach, is the same, but it has bathrooms and a lot of parking, but a short walk from the parking lot to the beach. Everyone we met on the island were very friendly and when asked, would give you suggestions of food, beaches, stores, places of interest. There are two large grocery stores on the island. The gas prices are higher on the island than the mainland. Traffic was continuous but you are only going 25-30 mph so that is fine.
There is some construction at this location, but it did not interfere with parking, loading or getting to the buildings.
As you can imagine there is always servicing and repairs on
island properties.
Overall a great value for a clean, well maintained property and at a good location to get anywhere on the island within 15-25 mins. We will definitely go again, maybe in the fall when the temps are lower. Don and family
