Wonderful Weekend getaway

The house was perfectly cleaned and just right for our family gathering over Labor Day. Plenty of room and a lovely well appointed kitchen with a great porch looking over the golf course. Close to the marina and other family that lives in the area.

Great family getaway location

The house was great where everyone had their own bed and bath. The elevator came in very handy for our older family members so they didnt miss out on any fun. The house was not that close to dining and such but that was Ok with us. I would stay there again.

Amazing neighborhood

This place was wonderful! I told all of our guest I will 10/10 be renting this place again! I recommend finding a golf cart rental to enjoy the beautiful neighborhood! There are plenty to pick from! Friendly neighbors and wonderful golf course views! I will be back!

Immaculate

Beautiful and luxurious home that had everything you could think of to make your stay perfect. My family of enjoyed sitting on the spacious verandah overlooking the golf course. It was so peaceful and relaxing. Highly recommend booking this place. Great restaurants, beaches, shopping and attractions. Can't say enough about this place. The family and I we will definitely come back. Book 6/29-7/3 The house and location were awesome. Lovely, well furnished house with plenty of room for everyone.

Great property in a lovely home

Nestled in a beautiful neighborhood on the edge of a stunning golf course, this stay was a wonderful delight. The house is well appointed. It’s a bit of a drive to beaches, about 10 minutes from the nearest gas station/convenience store, and a little further still to a super market (but it was a good one). to a lot of folks though, that’ll be a strong selling point.

Perfect for a group. Top shelf!

Great kitchen and spaces. Just know the 3rd master bedroom is downstairs only accessible by the elevator. Good supplies for a baby and it would be nice if they also had a baby gate to keep a toddler from escaping up the very cool spiral staircase to the loft. Overall EXCELLENT. Plus the kitchen had all the equipment you will need if you are a gourmet chef! They thought of everything. St. Simons Island was awesome.

Absolutely Stunning Home - the pics don't do it justice - Very Spacious and bright!!

In a great community and on the golf course. Very quiet and spacious. Deer roaming the neighborhood gives a very tranquil feel and this area is rich in history. The home is huge and bright. Comes with all the comforts you'd want including a separate icemaker. Huge beds in the bedrooms that are incredibly comfy :) I would highly recommend this home. REal good value for the money!!

Ssi family trip

The house was great! It had plenty of room and lots of amenities in the kitchen. The only issues were the loft bed did not have any blankets and the third full bedroom was in the garage. The pictures were accurate but the location away from the other rooms was not clearly noted. Our teens stayed in the garage room but the door didn’t close all the way. Besides these things we really enjoyed this location.

Great Property

Overall the home was great, well appointed and quaint. While the home and location were great for us, Important to note, it's about 15-20 minutes from "town". A note for the cleaning team, and heads up to future guests. We did find a good amount of mold in the countertop ice maker and coffee maker water reservoir. Additionally not all bathrooms were clean when we arrived, it's an easy fix for the cleaning crew and easy watchout for future guests. We didn't let this impact our stay, so overall we give it 4 stars.

Beautiful Home with Issues

The main floor is beautiful, but they don’t tell you that the only access to the bottom floor is the elevator which was broken during our stay. So the only way to get access is to go outside, down the stairs and around the side. The bottom floor is also a garage with the 3rd bedroom in there so it has a window unit which also wasn’t working. 90+ degrees in there and extremely muggy. However, the Vacasa agent I communicated with was very polite. The back deck is nice overlooking the golf course. Could have been a very pleasant stay if the issues would have been repaired.

Non-functioning appliances

Lovely, well furnished house. But The refrigerator in the kitchen did not work. Even though Vacasa knew about this before we checked in on Saturday no repair person showed up until Tuesday, and then had to order a part, which did not arrive before we left. The house has two refrigerators in the basement/garage, but that meant negotiating two flights of stairs every time we needed something from a refrigerator. Also: the tv in the living room was not functioning fully: the sound would cut out every 5-10 minutes, requiring a manual reset. Vacasa says they already knew about this as well (?).

Nice amenities

The place was perfect for our family get away. It was great that we didn’t have to pack the essentials for our granddaughter. Everything was provided, pack n play, booster seat for the table and a play mat. We went to the beach a couple days and again everything you needed was in the house. The area was quiet, very relaxing. You could sit on the deck and watch the golfers come by. I would recommend this home and would definitely consider coming back.

Just what I needed!

I have been working too many hours and was told to take some time off immediately. I knew it had to be near the ocean, so I chose St. Simons since we had never stayed in that area. Looking at last minute rentals, I almost chose a much smaller house in the heart of everything but, as I zoomed out on the map, I noticed this rental in what appeared to be a quieter location and for the same nightly price. This home is lovely and sits right on hole 6 I believe. Everything in the home appeared brand new and we all enjoyed our week-long stay. I highly recommend this place for couples or families looking for some peace and quiet while still only 20 minutes from the main beaches.

Comfortable and spacious

My family and 4 children under 6 years old loved this house. The living space was open and generous for all ages ranging from 3-83. The game room was well equipped and lots of fun for 4 young boys. The elevator was convenient for our less mobile folks and heavy luggage. The kitchen had more appliances than expected and encouraged our ice cream making skills-appreciated by the children. Needed more mixing bowls and a mixer, however. TVs in every room and the porch made bedtime easier. The 9th green as our backyard was a plus! Really appreciated the comfort and peaceful atmosphere.

An adult or family retreat home

I wanted to stay in a home that would meet my family of five needs. I could not ask for better home, location great, spacious living/kitchen area, large comfortable beds, and a fun game room for all to enjoy. The back porch area so was a place where you could read, have coffee, or just take in the view early in the morning. I would certainly rent this home again.

Perfectly Perfect!

The location is very private and tranquil. This house has so many extras that make the stay just perfect! Just a short drive to fun locations at Redfern Village and downtown. Do the tree spirit scavenger hunt. Eat at the Mallery Street Cafe (plenty to share or take home for later). The Lighthouse Trolley tour is wonderful, too. One of our best trips as a family!
