「We had a hockey tournament in Blaine, MN, and decided to stay at a lake house instead of the standard hotel. The house was the perfect size for our family of four, and our boys loved fishing, kayaking, and canoeing. Communication with Kevin was great, and the weekend trip went smoothly. To top it off, we have a perfect view of the Northern Lights from the end of the dock.」

「We stayed to go to the mall of america. We wanted somewhere outside the city and this home was just right for us! 2 bedrooms were clean and beautifully designed. 「Our stay was one of the most relaxing and amazing vacations my family has taken. Our kids loved swimming in the lake, fishing, making smores at the fire pit, and warming up in the hot tub. 「My friends and I stayed at this cabin for my bachelorette weekend. It was beyond perfect in every way. The host, Erin, was responsive and friendly. The check-in process was very easy. There was a house manual that explained the house and how everything works, which was helpful! There were little details in the cabin that made the stay even better. 「Our entire family had an amazing stay! The owners were excellent and accommodating hosts with great communication. We not only enjoyed the charming, spacious and well stocked house, but also the yard amenities and Green Lake! Although the other cabins/houses are relatively close in proximity, there was not a lot of noise pollution. We caught plenty of fish right off the dock and from the boat. Overall, we had a wonderful weekend and would definitely stay again! 👍😊」

「For a long weekend in the area, this was a great place for my wife and I, two of our adult sons and our dog. The house was clean and comfortable and just off a nice park trail for our pup. Kitchen supplies (spices and oils) were somewhat limited, so bring your own if you intend to cook. Pots and pans were adequate. Host supplied Keurig cup coffee.」

「The home is beautiful Really no complaints I stayed with all of my bridesmaids the night before my wedding and they were so accommodating for everyone the owner is super nice and there backyard is perfect for pictures and the hot tub was a huge plus! Only complaint was there was no microwave haha but they do have a toster over that worked fine :) Just keep in mind also the owners do live upstairs but were quiet and kept to there self」

「This was a great location for a long girls weekend. Really nice space outdoors to enjoy and 2 comfortable beds with comfortable living space to relax in. (If you need to have adults sleep on the pull out/futon or bunk beds it may not be as comfy for bad backs ect- but the space is there if you need it) Really easy access and the long sloped sidewalk down to the unit made it easy to bring in luggage on wheels. Host was great and responsive. Just keep in mind there is no sink in the kitchenette...

「My friends and I made the short drive up from the Cities for a weekend away and could not have been more pleased with our stay at Zach and Betsy’s home. The house itself was clean and spacious—everyone (two couples, two singles) had their own space if they needed a minute to themselves. The details—from ample linens and phone chargers in every room to the coffee maker and French press to the board games—were immaculate. I fully recommend The Gables for a getaway!」

「If you are looking for a basic hotel at a low cost, this is a good choice. We stayed in a king room that included a large flat screen Tv, a microwave and refrigerator. There was not a coffee pot in the room, but they have a free continental breakfast (very basic) that has free coffee. Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable, so we would stay here again. 」
