"There was a loud buzzing when we checked in the room. Called front desk immediately and they sent maintenance to check. Didn’t like that we had to wait around to see if problem would be resolved quickly and we were on a time budget at the time. Took almost half hour to resolve which is half hour that we could’ve used for our time"

"Walked into my room to find it had not been cleaned. Staff put me in a different room. They don’t have coffee and tea in the lobby."

"The hotel was clean and in a great location for anything you're doing downtown. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. My only real complaint was that the thermostat said it was set to 20 C for my comfort, but my room was definitely at 23 C and the note beside it said to only adjust it 2 degrees either way. So I set it to 18 C and I don't feel like there was any change in temp, so I had to open the window all night and even then the room was quite hot."

"The hotel seems perpetually under construction. It is usually cheap and is right on the lrt line for events at the saddledome. Also, the gym is in poor condition. "

"I highly recommend this hotel over the much pricier “brand names”. The hotel is modern, clean, has a unique and trendy feel and spacious, well-appointed rooms. Hotel Arts will be my first choice on return business trips to Calgary."
