「We enjoyed our stay at this property and it was clean, well equipped with all the modern conveniences, and provided a nice alternative to a hotel. It was a good fit for us with our small dog and was a short drive to the places we wanted to visit. We were there for a long weekend and it is along a busy street so the only drawback was the traffic noise during the day.」

「House very clean. Great hospitality.」

「Very nice accommodations. Easy to get to and off the main road which is nice so that you can get around the mountains. Amenities were very nice. Even coffee was available. Beds were comfortable and the living space was plenty for a large group if you needed it.」

「This place was spotless, one of the cleanest vacation homes I have rented. Very comfortable; no complaints. They had A TON of towels and I appreciated that. lol」

「We had a wonderful stay at the Black Bear Cabin. The home was spotless, cozy, and very comfortable, with a well-appointed kitchen and laundry room that had everything we needed. Linens, towels were provided, and the location was perfect-just a 30-minute drive from Shenandoah National Park. The view was lovely and the backyard was comfortable with a hot tub and grill that made evenings relaxing and fun. Lisa and Jim were fantastic hosts—very responsive, helpful, and clear with instructions. The...

「The views out the giant window are marvelously complex. We enjoyed a week of calm at this cute little place.」

「It was a beautiful cabin, exactly what we needed to get away from the city and just disconnect. If you’re not comfortable driving on mountain roads, just something to think about. Overall an amazing little getaway. 」

「We had the best time!!!! The home had beautiful views and was very clean. Loved the movie/ game room and hot tub! Exactly as described. We can’t wait to go back again. My son forgot his pillow and the owner even shipped it back!!! Five star property for sure!!!!」

「Was filthy I had to clean bathrooms and wash sheet and towels before we could use them. Trash all throw in back yard. Rental smelled like vomit.Down stairs toilet clogged. I want arefind for the cleaning fee. The driveways was all torn up it was a grass driveway 3 of the bed were tepee beds. Not at all what was advertised. We left early because there wasnt enough warm water to even got the shampoo out of my hair.」

「Unfortunately the hot tub was not working, but received a credit for that. The dishes and cookware were sticky as if whoever was there previously did not completely wash them. The gas fireplace was turned off, but he owner came quickly to ignite it. Over-all we would rent it again. The cabin is in a beautiful spot and only about a 40 minute drive to Skyline drive.」

「From the spectacular views to all the amenities offered by our gracious host, it was exactly what we needed to relax and unwind. The property was very clean with a great layout and beautiful finishes. There was coffee, tea, spices, bug spray, towels, washer & dryer, fire wood, games, s'more goodies, and the hot tub was very well maintained. The cherry one top, we were able to watch the sunrise over the mountains from our bed! Our host, Prena, was very communicative and polite. We are travelers,...

「The house was secluded and quiet. It was clean and well maintained. We loved having the pool on the very hot days.」

「Great house! My dog had a blast. It was a dog centered trip. She got to run around in the yard and chase critters. She had a ball. The backyard is great. It looks exactly like it does in the photos. Small thing the front yard is huge and the backyard doesn’t extend much farther than the hot tub structure.」

「Nice room, friendly staff. Only complaint was restaurant was not open.」
