Golf Retreat Canadian Lakes sleeps 10


Come enjoy this newly renovated 3200sq ft home overlooking the 15th & 16th hole at St Ives Golf Course in Canadian Lakes Resort. The layout offers many different areas to gather, so you have lots of space to enjoy. Enter into a fun coastal lake side vibe with 12 ft ceilings and wall of windows in the living room, overlooking the golf course. There is an all-seasons cedar room that opens out to the spacious deck with Adirondack chairs to relax and enjoy your morning coffee or evening beverages and enjoy the views. The large master suite is on main level with connecting bathroom with shower and jetted tub.
2nd bedroom on main level also has a king size bed. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need and more for all of your cooking needs. Coffee, spices, cooking oil, wrap, foil, baggies, soap, paper towels, garbage bags provided.
Head downstairs to a spacious entertaining area, where there is a kitchenette, with refrigerator, stove, and sink for your convenience. The 3rd bedroom has 2 queen size beds. There is also a bunk bed at end of the game room. Large bathroom with 2 sinks, shower, toilet. The Family Room has an 82-inch T.V. with a large comfy reclining sectional to relax and enjoy a movie.
The game room has a foosball, poker table and bar. There are also plenty of outside and indoor games available.
Head outside to lots of green space to the patio, where you will find a propane BBQ and firepit, (wood provided) with long metal pokers for roasting marshmallows for s'mores.
There are plenty of tables and chairs for everyone hang out and enjoy the golf views.
Canadian Lakes is a private resort that offers plenty of amenities to enjoy during your stay here.
There are 3 golf courses, fitness center, including jacuzzi, sauna, indoor pool and tennis. More entertainment at the music pavilion, parks, outdoor pool, beaches, pickleball and basketball courts.
There are 4 restaurants here, Tullamore, Royal Grille, Antlers, and C.L.Pizza Co. all within a short 10-minute drive.
All sports Tri Lake boat launch is just 3 minutes from house. Lake Mecosta, Blue and Round Lakes are all connected, so bring your boat, jet skis, kayaks and enjoy the water.
There are also pontoon and kayak rentals nearby for your lake adventures.
No matter how you choose to spend your time here, there is always plenty to do.
We go the extra mile for our guests! We will do our best to be flexible and can offer later check outs, if there isn't a booking for the next day.

Golf weekend

Shared the property with 5 friends for a golf trip, and the whole experience was great. The house is very nice and you have a view of the 15th hole at St Ives. Plenty of room to socialize inside and out. Hosts were very good about communicating, and they went the extra mile to make it a very nice weekend.

Terrific house

Right on the golf course. In fact it's right on one of the best holes, on the one of the best courses in Michigan (IMO). Well appointed. Great basement/walk out patio. This house would be fantastic for a family getaway or a buddies golf trip. Owners were responsive, helpful and creative with the sticky notes! (if you rent it you'll see what I mean).

Couldn't Be Happier

I've rented a few homes but I don't believe I've ever left a review. My experience was too good to not leave one here. My friends and I were searching for an ideal location for our annual golf outing (8 total). A few things that were important to us in our search: location, amenities, space, comfort and convenience. This rental checked all those boxes for us. Our time in the home was balanced on both levels: the main level afforded us to do all of our cooking and eating, with general lounging in the living room and top deck. The biggest bonus was the recreational area in the lower level. After our rounds of golf and dinner, we spent the evenings playing cards, foosball and general conversation at the bar. As happy as we were with the home, the most impressive aspect of the process was dealing with the owners. My interaction was specifically with Rebecca, who immediately made us feel like we were home. Her customer service and communication was off the charts. I read the same in the reviews and this is what sold me on renting here. As the golf trip coordinator, the guys are not easy to please. That being said, they were over complimentary in my find. If you're on the fence with renting here (like I was), leverage the reviews to help you with your decision. You won't be disappointed.

The Perfect Getaway

This home blew away all of our expectations. Plenty of room for 10 of us. This home was stocked with everything we needed to create a weekend that our friend group will never forget. After a full days of golf this was the perfect spot to come back and unwind. If we travel back to the Stanwood area, I would love nothing more than to stay here again. If you’re thinking about booking this place for your stay, do yourself a favor and pull the trigger.

Family Vacation

We had extended family in town and this rental was great for overflow for everyone visiting Canadian Lakes. The spacious kitchen allowed ample space to prep food and dine together (also using the back patio). The teens greatly enjoyed the game table in the basement! We had many fun family game nights in the family room and out on the back patio. The host was very responsive to any questions and concerns we had. We greatly enjoyed our stay!

Girls family weekend

The house, decor, location, outdoor areas are gorgeous. Our group had a hard time deciding where we wanted to hang out the most with so many awesome areas in the house!. We enjoyed the deck and lower level patio for games and evening beverages. The hosts were speedy to respond with any questions and super friendly. The welcome basket was also extremely thoughtful. Our group wants to come back next summer!

Family reunion

I initially reserved this house for a small gathering of family. There were seven of us staying at the house and a small group that lived in the area coming to spend the day. As it turned out, more family heard of our get together and wanted to join so in total we had 28 people one of the days. My cousins have big families with kids ranging from 5 to 18. The kids were thrilled to find a foos ball game downstairs and other outside games like corn hole and lawn darts ( the safe ones). The adults were on the main floor where we clustered in the big kitchen and living room. Some people went out on the screened porch and others on the back deck which looks over a beautiful golf course. This house was perfect for such a big crowd. All of the beds had wonderfully comfortable mattresses. Rebecca and Dennis were amazing hosts. They left waffle mix with pure maple syrup and the makings for s’mores for us. We absolutely loved everything about our stay and we will definitely be back.

Beautiful Home on the course

There was plenty of room throughout the home and had everything we needed. The residence sits on a quiet course where we spent much our time grilling and watching the locals golf. Communication was excellent, the owners are very sweet and thoughtful. We absolutely loved our weekend stat and would highly recommend this place over and again.
