“Cottage was perfectly located and well equipped albeit small for the price. Bathroom great, cosy lounge and well equipped kitchen. Couple of areas needed redecorating.
But communication was non existent. Contacted host twice without reply on day of arrival to get the passcode for the keys. Also phone number was for Sykes cottages which was closed. Ended up knocking on doors nearby and finally got to the right person.”

“We found the staff very friendly, had a lovely meal in the restaurant with the staff very attentive.
The room we were allocated was room 6, a cozy double room even so a chair of some kind would have been useful and yes there was enough room for one.
It had a great shower but a shelf in the cubicle would be of great advantage.
It would have been helpful to be advised in the advertising of the room that the window in the room was frosted so there were no views from the room.”

“Good location for exploring North Yorkshire , the food in the restaurant was good value for money , I can recommend the mixed grill mezzo for 2, there was a good choice of draft beer in the bar , the room was spacious & clean but requires updating the window didn’t close, the shower rail was loose, the toilet seat did not fit correctly & 1 light fitting failed to operate , the staff were friendly & the inn was good value for money with free parking”
