The location was perfect (about a 10 minute walk to Gondola Square) and an even shorted walk to the bus (use "The Rockies 2"). Amenities were great and the place was very clean and warm. Would recommend!!!

Perfect condo for two people. All amenities you would need for basic stay. Comfortable living area and outdoor surroundings. Perfect location for the skier. A public transportation bus has a stop directly in front of condo complex and complex is across the street from the shuttle service to the ski resort. Grocery stores, liquor store, Starbucks, ski rental businesses and a whole lot more within about a mile radius. The Downtown area is a few miles away. We would return to this rental

The Rockies is the best place to stay in Steamboat. The pool and community room/gym are great and our unit was perfectly appointed. We loved our stay at The Rockies and found the free condo bus from downtown to the condo very easy. Highly recommended!

Great place to stay. Shuttle easily accessible or you can even walk to the lift if you like. Hot tub came in handy and the fact that this is on the first floor makes it much easier after a long day on the slopes.

We really enjoyed our stay and the updated condo was amazing. The kids enjoyed the pool and hot tub and we loved the firepit. Everything was super clean and the bed was very comfy. It was also great to have a washer/dryer in the unit and a quick drive to the grocery stores and to downtown.

Had a great stay in this apartment. Parking was easy and for the fit skier the walk to the base area is no big deal. The apartment was just perfect for the two of us, lots of storage space, well equipped and the heating was easily controlled. The ski locker easily took 4 pairs of skis. It was very quiet and the main bed was very comfortable.

What struck me immediately compared to other VRBO‘s I’ve stayed in was how neat clean , unworn and well stocked The place was. Everything from spices to aluminum foil to dishwasher and clothes washer soap to Ziploc bags were all taken care of. The walk to the base gondola is approximately 10 minutes. Access to the shuttle to take one downtown was a short 10 minute walk to the base.
