Nice furniture, good cooking gear. Nice kitchen remodel. Great front desk personnel. Almost a nice remodel of bathroom, shower and doorways; affords minimum privacy and convenience.

Exactly as advertised!

We had a lovely ski vacation as a family. The house is definitely ski IN, with just a bit of walking OUT…maybe 50 yards. Everything was just as described and the hot tub was first class!

Cozy apartment facing the entrance

I wanted to be fair to this listing. The owner went renovated the apartment and its nicely done. It should be only for a couple. Over 2 people is crammed. Its on the first floor. Pro: easy to get to. If you open your condo door, you are in the lobby, and you get sort of full access to the door man who is great. Con: You open the door and you are in the lobby. People walking by can you see naked in the apartment. If you open the windows, you are facing the parking lot and entrance of the lobby. So keep your clothes on. One bathroom with no lock and just two barn sliding doors Pro: You get close with your family Con: You get real close with your family Mater bedroom has an open wall to the living room Pro: You can talk to your kids sleeping on a pull out sofa Con: Kids can talk to you and just walk in any time to say hi Location is great. Gravity Haus next door has a good breakfast. Ski lockers are on the garage and can be a bit annoying to get to as no elevator right there.

Excellent stay

Wonderful accommodations. Comfy bed, modern decor. Free shuttle service is a great perk. Fast WiFi and well appointed kitchen. Will be back I’m certain.

Great Location

We enjoyed our stay. The listing stated a washer/dryer in unit but it did not have one. They have coin-operated laundry in the building. The bed was not comfortable, no bed frame and very soft. The condo was well equipped for cooking. We have stayed at the Ptmagain house want will stay again.

Great Location!

Super location- Walk to the gondola and village. The on call shuttle is so convenient. The condo is mostly updated but the bed is really low (no box spring) and the mattress is too soft. Three box fans help circulate air and downed out noise. All around good stay!

Good condo, great hot tub set up

We have stayed at ptarmigan house before with our daughter and loved the hot tub set up so we stayed here again. The hot tub is never busy. We love going in there with her after a long day of skiing! I am giving this condo 4 stars because the barn doors to the bathroom never had a stopper installed on one of them. So if you’re in the bathroom doing your business, it may randomly decide to slide open lol… if bathroom privacy is a concern, this is not the condo for you. Also, it should be noted that this year, the ski school drop off is on the other side of the resort. So it was quite the trek if the shuttle was busy. Other than that, it was a good condo. Had all the kitchen stuff we needed and the front desk is very friendly and attentive. We would probably stay here again if the ski school moves back to the other side!

Fantastic!

Fantastic location on the mountain! Fantastic people working the desk/addressing our needs (Matthew & Dave)! 10 steps from front door of the condo to outside to ski & 10 steps once skis are off to condo door... cannot beat that! Beautiful & updated condo with great internet & modern conveniences. Free shuttle provided to bring us wherever we needed to go. We will definitely be back!

Great Location!

Easy to get on and off the slopes, shuttle comes right at the door to take you onto Main Street. Clean and updated unit. Only thing is that the fire would mysteriously go on in the middle of the night and woke us up, but I think that’s the way the unit is heated. Excellent overall!

Nice but not private

The unit has been very nicely remodeled. The kitchen is fabulous. The gas fireplace was a wonderful heater. Unfortunately, the bathroom has sliding barn doors and had no privacy whatsoever. This unit shares a wall with the main front door entrance for the condos, and is 5' from the front desk. Probably the least private and noisiest place I have stayed in the last 15 years.

Beautiful condo in a great location.

This unit was one of the nicest we have ever stayed in. It was stocked with everything we needed, the kitchen was wonderful to cook in! The condo was recently renovated and has been meticulously maintained and was exceptionally clean when we arrived. We would definitely return!

Great updated condo close to the slopes

This recently remodeled condo was a perfect spot for our short stay in Steamboat. The modern update made it feel clean and spacious. The huge king bed was very comfortable, as was the large walk-in shower with bench seating. We appreciated the underground parking that came with the condo. The condo is a short walk to the gondolas and restaurants and a short drive to downtown. We were looking forward to using the hot tub, but because of COVID, it was closed. Not a big deal, but would’ve been nice to know when booking. We had a great stay and would definitely come back!
