Sundance Creek 103 by Mountain Vacation Lodging is an updated and stylish condo with great quality throughout, flexible and comfortable sleeping accommodations, and a convenient central location. This condo has an open layout and very high ceilings, giving it a spacious feel. It is a ground floor unit, which means it stays cooler than other units, and is easier to access with your luggage or groceries. The location allows quick and easy access to the Steamboat Ski Resort, the Yampa River, Downtown Steamboat, shopping centers, trail systems and free bus lines. Please read on for more details.

The Property:
This condo has been thoughtfully and beautifully updated, furnished, and equipped. The main living area is open concept and quite large. None of the distinct parts of this big space will feel cramped. The kitchen features granite counters, a double basin sink, fridge with filtered water and ice, and a gas range. It is fully equipped with everything you need, plus plenty of counter and cabinet space. Its peninsula has a raised bar with seating for 4, an ideal spot for appetizers or laptops. The dining table seats 6 with elbow room to spare and seven if you put 3 on the tufted leather bench. This table is not only great for dining but playing cards or games. From the table guests can watch the living room's large SmartTV, where guests can log in to their streaming apps. The living room is chic and comfortable. Relax on the sofa which is positioned directly in front of the warm gas fireplace, with rockwork from floor to ceiling. There's no need for a sleeper sofa here because the extra large TV stand is actually a murphy bed that you'll find is way more pleasant than a sleeper sofa. There are two leather chairs and an ottoman as well, giving this space plenty of seating.

The two bedrooms are both big rooms. Bedroom 1 easily accommodates the King size bed, matching bedside tables, as well as a dresser with mirror, a chest with SmartTV, and a desk with monitor. If you must work, this bedroom suite offers you a private space to hook up your laptop to the monitor and work more efficiently, so you can get back to your vacation asap! It is a true suite, too. This bedroom includes a walk in closet and a large bathroom. The bathroom vanity has dual sinks and granite counters. The extra large shower includes a bench, standard shower head and shower wand, multiple recessed nooks and beautiful tile. Bedroom 2 has a Queen size bed with a Twin trundle underneath, making this room ideal for a couple, a couple plus a single or child, or 2 to 3 kids. When the Twin trundle is tucked away under the Queen, this room is quite spacious. The second full bathroom is right across the hall and includes a shower plus a bathtub - very convenient for families with young kids.

There are ceiling fans in both bedrooms plus the living room. Also in the main space is a bench, coat racks, and coat closet, and a laundry room with your private washer and dryer. The hot tub is a very short walk from your front door - close but not too close.

Location:
This condo's location on Angler's Drive offers a lot of things to like. It is located very close to Fish Creek, the Yampa River, and halfway in between the mountain village and downtown. From this condo you can walk to a Starbucks, breakfast, lunch, and dinner restaurants, the Safeway grocery store, and two parks. Fish Creek is about 100 meters away and a sidewalk runs along it leading you to the Yampa River, Fetcher Park, and the Yampa River Core Trail. These paved paths are ideal for strolling, jogging, biking, fishing access, and more. Head up Angler's Drive in the other direction and you'll find Rita Valentine Park, with a network of trails and great views of the ski mountain. Watch out for moose and other wildlife. They love these parts of town. If you're headed to the ski area, or downtown, you don't need a car. You can bike to either, but Steamboat's free bus system is very easy to use. The red and blue lines both go right through this area, and they do so going both directions, with very direct routes to and from the ski area and downtown. So, regardless of whether you're headed to the ski area, downtown, or coming home from either, the ride will be short, direct, and free. The closest stops are about 200-300 meters from the condo, on Pine Grove Road. The bus is close, but not too close! Angler's Drive sees a lot less traffic.

Arrival, Access, and Parking:
Once you book, we're here to support you. We offer professional concierge services, provide you with arrival instructions, and answers to any specific questions you might have. Accessing this property requires zero stairs, making this condo much more wheelchair friendly than most. Parking is free and relatively plentiful at this development, but we during busy season we recommend limiting your group to 2 vehicles. Specifically, you'll have one private, reserved, heated parking space in the detached garage. Additional parking is the outdoor parking lot, where spaces are not reserved and available on a first come first served basis. Please note, trailers are not allowed, per HOA rules. So, if you will have a trailer or more than a couple of vehicles, please contact us before booking to discuss off-site parking options.

** Group Sizes, High Occupancy Fees, & Maximum Occupancy - Some properties use a “High Occupancy Fee” to “raise the rate” for larger groups, and are thus able to list a lower nightly rate for smaller groups. Each rental agreement and associated rates are for a specific group size. Guests must enter the correct and maximum group size at the time of booking. My husband, our son and daughter in law and I had a great stay. The unit was VERY well stocked in terms of kitchen supplies, the bedrooms were well appointed and comfortable. Great location and we walked to the bus stop to get to the mountain. Close to town and shopping. We all commented that it was the nicest VRBO we've stayed in! We highly recommend!

The condo was bigger than expected! Could easily sleep 8 people if needed with trundle and cabinet hide-bed. Perfect location! Walking distance to Starbucks, McDonalds, Botanical Gardens and the Yampa River walking trail. Very short drive to downtown, slopes, gondola, fish creek falls, etc. Management was quick to respond to questions. Overall great experience! Highly recommend!

Great condo that is very spacious, we thought the place was better than the actual pictures, which never happens. Everything you need is right there, hot tub is close, garage to park in, quick drive to the ski resort and free parking, close to grocery store. Everything is relatively new in the condo.
