Quick Ski Trip

The location is great for skiing, short walk to lift. Unit was well appointed, clean and comfortable. Only slight negative was the unit is in the basement with windows only on one side with limited view. Fixtures and appliances were new and very functional. Great place to relax and between activities. Good parking was a plus as well.

Although the unit is not quite ski in ski out, the short walk to the lift is easy. The unit is nicely decorated and very well equipped.

Steamboat Family Ski Trip

An absolutely lovely location truly within walking distance to the ski hill. With the close proximity to the slopes, this offered a great way to return to the unit if one needed a break from skiing. Alex, the host was very responsive to the few times a question needed answers. Great unit, great kitchen to make breakfast and dinner meals.

We've stayed in this condo building before in a different unit, so we knew what to expect. We like the complex and the location is away from the typical hustle and bustle. We had a great stay at the Scandi.

February 2025 Ski Trip

The unit was advertised as being ski in ski out and also having a washer and dryer. The unit was a hike uphill to the lift and there was no dryer in the unit. The unit was marginally clean upon arrival and lacked adequate cleaning products for the counter surfaces. Overall not as advertised

Great space walkable to Thunderhead Lift and across the hall from the hot tub.

We ended up paying 50 to park the first day in the mountain … but if you drive just past the lodges and stay on the main road for another block or so, you end up right at the lift. Great space!

Perfect for our family

The apartment was super clean and well accommodated. It was on the lower level, which we were not expecting, but it was convenient to just walk outside and it was right across the hall from the pool/hot tub. A little further from the ski slopes than we'd hoped, but all worked out well. Overall, it was a wonderful space for us and we'd stay again.

The property was clean and cozy. The full kitchen was very nice and we were able to cook without problems. The hot tub and pool area were really cool.

overall great - would stay here again

Great find further up the mountain than we usually stay. The 100 yd walk to Thunderhead seems longer because it's uphill, but overall very doable especially since there was a place to leave our stuff when we came in for lunch break. House was great with all the needed amenities. Recommend they upgrade the non-smart tv with a Roku or just spend $500 for a new tv, otherwise had everything we needed. King bed had a memory-foam pillow-top which was fine, but that would be the next recommended upgrade.

Steamboat masterpiece

A fun father and son trip to the amazing steamboat ski resort. The condo was clean and the hosts were amazing. Even replacing the leaky garbage disposal. The hot tub was great. The only difficult thing was the lack of parking. Otherwise it was a perfect 10 out of 10.

Great ski vacation

We had a great stay at this property. We were able to walk every day just a short distance to thunderhead lift and skip all the lines at the bottom of the mountain. Definitely worth it. We would stay here again.

Accurate description of the property. The walk to the lift is uphill and about 10 min. Once at the lift the rest is easy.

Quick ski trip.

This property was in a good location, it is not Ski in/Ski out, as mentioned in some of the other reviews. It is a short walk to the thunderhead lift. The kitchen has been updated and is nice. It has an older TV, but it worked well, the furniture is old and pretty worn out. The sofa has very poor support. The bedrooms and bathrooms are outdated. The king bed is very soft to where you feel like you sink into it pretty far. We dropped something on the side of the nightstand, and were surprised to find some dirty tissues. Overall for the price it was very nice and conveniently located.

Hidden Gem! Steps to the slopes

This property is a hidden gem. It is situated at the top of the hill and is a 5 minute walk to the lift. You will need to most likely rent a car for getting around town if you do want to go exploring. The unit was clean, roomy, cozy, and very quiet. We enjoyed the outdoor hot tub and pool. Great water pressure in the showers, a nice kitchen, which was great for cooking, and a comfy living room. We had a really great time and the communication with the host was very good. - Thank you so much!

Great condo!

Great condo, well stocked and clean! Updated and nice stocked with everything you might need (towels, toiletries, kitchen essentials). Pool and hot tub were clean and right across the hall from the unit. It is NOT a ski in/ski out condo as listed. It was a 5 minute walk to the lift, which was not that big of a deal, but definitely is not ski in/out. We would stay there again. Thanks!

Great Place

Perfect space for our family of 4. Short walking distance to Thunderhead lift for east access to skiing. Hot tub, pool and sauna were clean and maintained - and right across the hall from this unit. Would stay again!

Nice condo short walk to Thunderhead Lift

Clean (only 1 hair in shower) condo with nice kitchen. Ideal for small group (2-3 people). TV doesn’t have NFLX capability. Gas fireplace works well. Door directly to outside is helpful as entrance to complex is steep and outdated. Five minute walk to Thunderhead Lift. Not truly ski-in/ski-out, but close. Basement unit, so dark and no mountain views. Not on shuttle route and host should have supplied pamphlets of things to do in the area. Primary bedroom needs new sheets that have stronger elastic. Had to remake the bed every morning. Comfortable, quiet spot, but definitely not luxe.

Loved this place.

We really loved this condo. It was very comfortable for our family of 4. Very quiet. The pool and hot tub were perfect, and the ski in/out was convenient. The modern decor and well stocked kitchen allowed us to cook a variety of meals. Thank you.

Scandinavian lodge is a great place to stay in Steamboat

It was clean, clearly remodeled and worked well for us. SL is walking distance to the Timberidge chair, and avoids the Gondola on weekend mornings. Our son used the hot tub - sign up for a time for your unit - and it worked well. Good communication with SkyRidge - we let them know our departure routine and it worked well.

Great Condo

Condo was as advertised and nice to be ski in and ski out. Only downside is that it’s not terribly convenient to get to the mountain if you’re not on skis

Very nice location and clean

This place was very nice and clean, it is located in a very nice affluent neighborhood with clean environment and good view. The only disappointment was that in picture it was advertised as upper floor with mountain view but the apartment they gave us was in first floor and we had to go down in stairs to the lowest floor. Other than that everything else was good.
