The property is at the best spot to stay in Steele. You will be walking distance from the only food options in town other than the local vets building- Coffee Cup truck stop, which has a Subway, Pizza Hut, Caribou Coffee and Cinnabon. The rooms were modest but clean, the showers ran hot, and the breakfast and coffee provided were decent. The only MASSIVE issue is the absolutely belligerent front desk host/manager/owner?
Don't bother filling out the hotel's prompts for pre check in, which includes giving out your personal info, because he will quite literally yell at you that he does not care what the Cobblestone website/texts/emails say, he will not honor any of it. He says there are many Cobblestones, and this one is his and "online is different". This hotel is run by someone that knows that you have zero other options in the area, so you can't do anything about it except accept your fate.
It's a pity, because the rest of the staff seemed incredibly friendly and everyone in town was absolutely lovely.
