Breathtaking ocean view home on the south end of The Sea Ranch

Rosemary Bluff: Unit 15 Lot 8. The home includes a main level living room, full kitchen, dining room, primary suite with king bed and jacuzzi tub, open gallery with a twin bed outside king bedroom (no door!), library with two twin beds with curtains to close off the room from the hallway (no door!), ladder accessible queen bed in loft and a full bath downstairs. An additional studio primary suite with a king bed and full bath is accessible from a private exterior slider entrance on the oceanside deck. No hot tub. One dog allowed.

Living: Large picture windows with ocean views from every room. Wood burning fireplace, original artwork throughout, Free Wi-Fi, 50” HD Smart TV in living room, 40” HD Smart TV downstairs, both with Blu-ray/DVD players. Blue tooth speakers and cd player. Washer and dryer, iron and ironing board, hair dryers in each bathroom.

Bedrooms: 3 bedrooms, 2 king beds, 3 twin beds and 1 queen bed in loft. Linens and towels included.

Entertainment HD Smart TVs with Blu-ray/DVD players in living room and downstairs private suite. Blue Tooth speakers, Direct TV, CD player, games, puzzles, books, coloring books. Free Wi-Fi

Kitchen: Fully equipped kitchen with electric range, dishwasher, and refrigerator. Coffee maker (basket coffee filter), microwave, toaster oven, blender, crock pot, cooking and bake ware, turkey roaster, mixing bowls, hand mixer, cheese grater, salad spinner, colanders, tea kettle. Wine and champagne glasses, corkscrew.

SEA RANCH AND SONOMA COUNTY GUIDELINES
Drones are strictly prohibited in The Sea Ranch.
Quiet hours must be observed between 9pm and 7am every day.
No outdoor amplified sound is allowed at any time day or night.
Dogs must be leashed and cannot be left unattended.
Maximum number of vehicles at house shall be 3 (three), with a 1 car garage available. No RV's.
Maximum occupancy is 9 for this home.

We loved our stay at Rosemary Bluff! The pics actually do not do it credit; it is MORE beautiful in person! The Living room, Dining room, and Master Bedroom all feature window-walls looking out onto the Pacific Ocean! Gorgeous!

Absolutely stunning views! Wonderful house for a relaxing get away!

We had the best time at this house and will definitely be back! The views are absolutely breathtaking from every room! The images just don’t do it Justice. We were blown away! Our dogs had a great time and we saw deer, a bobcat, seals, whales, coyotes and wild turkeys. I wish I could give it a hundred stars for the views alone. The home is eclectic and the beds were very comfortable. We definitely hope to go back!

Great house overall. The kitchen is a bit small but otherwise the views are amazing and house was clean and well stocked. We enjoyed all the trails and beaches within the sea ranch community as well. Would definitely come back!

Cool house with an amazing view

This is a cool house on the edge of Sea Ranch. Every room has a great view of the ocean. There is plenty of space and a lot of beds for everyone - a large master bedroom with a large attached bathroom that includes a jetted tub, a day bed in the nook, a library with two beds, a loft with a bed for any kids that don’t mind climbing a ladder, and a separate room with a bathroom on the lower level that’s accessible though a sliding glass door. The amazing views make up for the fact that you will have to make an easy drive up highway 1 to get to the walking/hiking paths and beach areas in Sea Ranch. But you are close to the Sea Ranch lodge and Twofish Bakery, which make it easy to get a nice pastry or lunch. There are a lot of paths hikes and we only had a chance to try a few, but they were all beautiful. You get a placard to hang on the rear view mirror of your car they will let you park in the private areas of Sea Ranch and a pass so you can use the private hiking trails. You can get a map of the trails at the sea ranch association for $5. One minor annoyance is that you have to go to Gualala to get keys and passes and have to return there to drop them off. If you want a relaxing home with beautiful views, this is a good choice.

Splendid setting!

Right on the bluff … First possible access road into beautiful Sea Ranch. Spacious home very welcoming and comfortable. We loved it. The only surprise was that the very large primary suite with a king size bed is the only private bedroom on the main floor. The second one with a king size bed is a suite on the lower level with separate access. That one has gorgeous views as well. The remainder of the sleeping arrangements on the main level is a very good library room with two twin beds with a curtain as a wall - with views as well, and a queen size bed in a small loft with ladder. It all worked well for us but might not have with three couples preferring private bedrooms. Not wanting to criticize this property, though. It is beautiful, spacious and very inviting. It was very hard to leave, and we would be happy to rent it again.

A very special property

We had an incredible week at this very special Sea Ranch property! It is on the very south end of Sea Ranch with unobstructed 200+ degree views of the pacific. We regularly saw whales spouting out of seemingly any window, and the sunsets.... epic. We had 4 adults and 4 children, and the variety of sleeping options and living spaces made our stay a real treat. During the day we explored the wonderful Sea Ranch beaches, pools and hiking trails. It truly was a trip that created memories for a lifetime!

Lovely spot for older kids and up!

This house was in a lovely and scenic location. But to do activities, one has to drive a short ways, you can't just bike or walk to a trail from the house. Many appliances and taps/handles/etc. in the house are very old and need updating. Some things were broken or about to break. But we had everything we needed. A little info on child friendliness would help in the description. We had a young toddler and this house is very unsafe, lots of ladders and steps and of course, the cliff right outside the house. I recommend this for kids old enough to not need much supervision and adults!

So lovely

We had such a lovely time in this home. Three weeks reprieve and it couldn’t be more perfect. Any TINY issues were resolved right away and the house was SO well stocked. The kids had a blast and we found our little resident bunny who visited daily. We love coming to Sea Ranch each year and we particularly loved being on the south end with very limited people around. You aren’t near the bluffs for walking but it’s easily accessible with a short drive. We unfortunately weren’t able to use the pools because of Covid but understandably so. Thank you again!

Good times at SeaRanch

My family stayed at this property over the 4th of July weekend, we had a wonderful time. There were whales every afternoon to watch, the kids really loved searching the ocean for a glimpse of their spouts. There was plenty of room for all of us, the kids spent alot of time in the loft area, they loved it. My 5 yr old niece was so sad to leave!

Family time

We rented the home for 4 nights for 8 people and 2 dogs. Work schedules changed and only 4 of us and two dogs enjoyed the trip. For me, the best thing about the home is the location! Right on the edge of a bluff with views from every room of the house! Amazing views!! You can hear the waves crashing. The home has plenty of room and is well stocked (my mom kept saying that). What you see on line is accurate. A cool feature...is this home has two master bedrooms! The second one is downstairs, there is no access from inside the house. You have to go outside to enter it. Again, amazing views from the bed!! We saw the spouts of the whales traveling north from the lower deck where we sat with our wine and enjoyed the secluded beauty. We never saw or heard anyone else around us. Yes, the kitchen might be small, but it has everything you need! Had all 8 of us been here, we would of had plenty of room. The only things that you might want to know up front...if privacy for the people you travel with is important...the only two bedrooms that have a solid door are the master bedrooms. The library room has a curtain that closes it off, the trundle is in an open area between the library and master, the loft is not totally inclosed (which is normal). This is the place we would stay if and when we come back!
