“Our room was clean and the bed was quite comfortable. We loved how the mini fridge had a small freezer. We were a little sad that the hot tub was under construction during a stay, but that would not stop us from staying again. The breakfast provided was well stocked with a variety of items and everything was fresh and hot. We will stay here if given the chance to come back to Stilwell again.”

“Room was great. Pool and Hot tub nice. Staff great. Their "wellness center" or gym is nothing. Looked like a storage room with a treadmill and bike. Had to go find a gym in town”

“The Walnut in is a charming little hotel off I40 that my dog and I stopped at for a quick overnight that ended conning two nights. It was wonderful. So clean, cute, the staff were amazing and there was the best little diner right next door! Casino across the way but we didn’t go over! The price was fantastic and really I can’t say more wonderful things about it! 10/10 for me!”

“The rooms are not what shown on pictures. The properly is poorly maintained. The bathtub drain didn't properly drain, the ice bucket inside the room was filthy, the bed spread had stains on them, the ice machine did not work. The humidity smell was all over the hotel. Apparently there was housekeeping service daily, but out sheets were never changed (we were there for 4 days). Overall, an ok place to stay in a very ok town, but definitely not coming back.”

“Love this place very clean great room and a very good price. The only down fall for me was the steakhouse I got the 8 filet with shrimp looked great but the steak was way over cooked and yes I could have sent it back but it was just before closing and I don't generally send food back and I was not a big fan for what ever cheese substance or what ever it was that was all over the shrimp and steak. The food was very reasonably priced as well as the very nice room I got. The casino floor was nice……

“The room was clean, staff was super friendly, there was one thing, the room we stayed in had a big glass window, and in front of it was a broken camera that was hanging and pointing Into our room window, which was kind of odd. ”

“Don't believe the ratings for this motel. Very dirty, smelly, not well maintained. No ice machine even though there is a sign for an ice machine. Very difficult to get access to wifi. It really seemed like a low income place for people to live and that is how the people there acted.”

“The building itself is a bit dated one of the elevator is broken, and seems to be broken for a while The running water fall between the two elevators give the hotel a smell of chloride The room is clean, no fridge in the room Shower head is slightly moldy Room decor seems ‘70ish ”

“The rooms have been recently updated and are very clean. The outside of the hotel faced an RV park which felt a bit awkward to have people looking at you as you were entering/exiting the rooms. The front desk staff were very kind and helpful with an issue with the TV. It was overall very quiet during out stay. The continental breakfast was the biggest disappointment. Hard boiled eggs that were like a rubber bouncy ball, limited fruit and cereal selection, no toast/bagels/muffins. Only 1……

“We were in town for my cousins’s wedding and from the very beginning, the staff was friendly helpful. The room was clean and breakfast area in the morning was clean and the person in charge of it was working diligently on making sure everything was as ready as possible. Definitely get my moneys worth and this location will definitely be on the top of my list if I were to stay there again.”
